Hello! I'm eviemaybe, an administrator on MarioWiki.
| Page | Move to | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Artist | "Art club person" | Conjectural name, to be replaced with a data-derived name |
| Block Tree | "Block tree switch" | More accurately represents the filename |
| Business Guy | "Business guy" | Unsourced name. If it is conjectural, it should be sentence-cased. |
| Cage Animals | "Cage animals" | Sentence case. |
| Candle Lighter | ? | Sprite name is "spr_candleLighter", for some reason? |
| Card Kingdom Card Kingdom/Puzzles |
"Classroom Dark World" | Conjectural. I recall a Pippins calling the Dark World as a whole "Card Castle", which is troubling. Discuss and research. |
| Clam Guy | "Clamguy" or "Clam guy" | Tobycased name when comparing filenames and Undertale artbook. |
| Climbing | "Climb" | Not technically a plural, but titling the article in the infinitive allows for less piping |
| Closet Dark World | ??? | Likely does not need to be moved, listed here for conjectural name completeness |
| Cooking Show | ??? | Unsourced name |
| Cowboy minigame | ??? | Unsourced name |
| Dad Cat Mom Cat |
"Catti and Catty's father"? "Catti and Catty's mother"? |
Unsourced name. Files name the dad "cattydad" and "catti_dad", and the mom "catti_mom" and "catty_mom". |
| Dark Sanctuaries Dark Sanctuaries/Puzzles |
??? | Here on a technicality; I don't think the three church DWs are ever named collectively. "Sanctuaries" might be a better choice? |
| Dashing | "Dash" | Same reason as Climbing; easier to pipe in the infinitive. |
| Dress Lion | "Dress lion" | Sentence case |
| Flannel Demon | "Flannel demon" | Sentence case |
| Flower Kingdom Flower Kingdom/Puzzles |
"Flower King Dark World" | Technically an official name but with a caveat. If we decide we don't want to rely on Nelnal's word, we should move this. |
| Flower Shop Loox | "Mike Wazowski" | Conjectural name. The existing filename is silly, but it is all we've got. |
| Flower item | ? | Conjectural name. Listed for completeness. |
| Glad Dragon | "Dragon family" | Conjectural and title-cased name. The sprite refers to the whole family at once, and the article could be expanded to cover all of them. |
| Green Fire | "Green fire" | Title cased. |
| Hand Receptionist | "Receptionist" | Conjectural and title-cased. |
| Hat Monster | ? | Their filename is "most_improved_1997", which is... hard to use as a name. They were named "Charles" in Undertale, though? If we decide to keep a conjectural name for them, it should still be moved to "Hat monster". |
| Ice Palace Map:Ice Palace |
? | Definitely references Dragon Blazers's ice palace, but saying that it IS the Ice Palace feels like a leap too far. |
| Icon Man | "Icon man" | Title-cased. |
| Manhole dungeon | ? | Unsourced name. I frankly think we should merge the dungeons with their respective Sword Route boards to avoid conjecturally-named pages. |
| Noelle's House | "Holiday manor" or something like that | I recall this getting a different name in Chapter 5, though I might be wrong. |
| Original Game Desert Board (Original Game) Island Board (Original Game) City Board (Original Game) Sword (Original Game) |
"Original game"? | Only ever called "the ORIGINAL game" by Ramb once, with that exact formatting |
| Politics Bear | "Politics bear" | Unsourced and titlecased. |
| Puzzle Masters Jailed Puzzle Master |
"Puzzle guy" or "Master" | Called puzzlemaster internally, described as "puzzle guy(s)" in two separate ocassions, individually named "Kris Master", "Susie Master", "Ralsei Master", and "TP Master" (aka "Battle's Master" or "Love Master"). What a puzzle. |
| Rabbit Kid | "Rabbit kid" | Sentence case. |
| Rouxls Block | "Rouxls block" | Sentence case. |
| Scarf Lady | "Scarf lady" | Sentence case. |
| Shambling Mass | "Shambling mass" | Sentence case. |
| Snail Guy | "Snail guy" | Sentence case. |
| Starwalker Bird Tropical Starwalker Bird |
"Starwalker (bird)" "Tropical Starwalker (bird)" or whatever the filenames say |
Literally called "Starwalker" in-game. |
| Stats | "Stat" | Singular |
| Takoyaki Harpy | "Takoyaki harpy" | Sentence case. |
| Tall Diamond Boy | "Tall diamond boy" | Sentence case. |
| Umbrella | "Umbrella yokai" | Filename. |
| Vendor | "Shop" | Vendorless shops are a thing because of the vending machines and Gerson leaving. Also fits what most people call the game mechanic in RPGs. |
| Wall Plug | "Wall plug" | Sentence case. |
| Wig Robot | "Wig robot" | Sentence case. |
| Worm | "Coody" | Filename, matches Kooby. |
| Wrap Mouse | "Wrap mouse" | Sentence case. |
| Yes Man | "Yes man" or "Yes-man" | Sentence case. |
The track starts out as a polka-esque rendition of "Rouxls Kaard" adapted into a call-and-response structure, with the melody of "Rouxls Kaard" serving as the call, interlaced with original melodies for the response. After two phrases, the melody repeats, now supported by a countermelody. This repetition leads into a downwards walk to transition to the second half of the track, connected by a small flourish played by a sampled choir instrument.
The second half of the track continues in the same style at the first, but now arranges the second half of "Lancer", representing the Thrash Machine's presence in the battle. This melody also repeats, with the second time being played on a violin with an additional piano countermelody. This second repetition resolves into a final flourish, with a sampled "Hey!" voice bite marking the loop point to the start of the track.
While playing the Original Game, HERO_SWORD encounters enemies roaming the boards and dungeons. They are initially docile, but enter an aggressive state and attack HERO_SWORD after attaining LV2 on Board 1. On subsequent boards, they maintain aggressiveness once HERO_SWORD obtains the sword. Enemies also move and attack faster the higher HERO_SWORD's LV is.
Contact with docile enemies does not damage HERO_SWORD, even being able to phase through them; however, contact with bullets fired by docile enemies (such as yellow lizards) does cause damage. Once they become aggressive, contact with them does inflict damage. Enemies occasionally drop healing items upon defeat that restore HP.
The following enemies are encountered in the Original Game, in order of first appearance:

In the manhole dungeon, they remain stationary and do not attack. |
