Werewerewire, Chapter 2
Werewerewire (JP: ケーブロイドロイド Kēburoidoroido) is a Darkner enemy in the Cyber World that the party can encounter in Queen's Mansion. It is a stronger variant of Werewire.
Werewerewires are visually very similar to Werewires, but the body of a Werewerewire is dark purple with cyan accents and does not have a wire. Werewerewires have a large white furred collar (which disappears in some of their attack animations), as well as a large drill-shaped mask instead of a plug on their face. They apparently possess some form of eyes, as evidenced by a line of ACT text.
Werewerewires are strong-willed, having absorbed their wires through sheer willpower. They do not turn into Plugboys when spared. They seem to place a lot of value in battle and victory, resenting Kris if they spare it rather than besting it in combat. Despite this, they are described as quiet, and indeed do not speak when interacted with. They are quite uptight, often found crushing a can in the post-game Cafe. They are also implied to like Head Hathys, as shown by their interactions in the Cafe. Like Werewires, they seem to enjoy energy drinks.
A lone Werewerewire appears in Queen's Mansion on the way from the Acid Tunnel to 4F. It does not respawn if it is spared, unlike most other enemies in Chapter 2.
After sealing the library Fountain, if Werewerewire was recruited, a Werewerewire appears in the Party Dojo in Castle Town. Two Werewerewires appear as the final wave in the "Ch2 All Stars" challenge at the Party Dojo.
On the Weird Route, a Werewerewire appears on the third floor of Queen's Mansion in what used to be the projection room. This Werewerewire respawns if it is spared, meaning it can be farmed for Dark Dollars.
If recruited, a Werewerewire can be found in Queen's room in the second floor of Ralsei's castle, trying its hand at online dating.
- Alone
- Another Werewerewire (Ch2 All Stars Challenge at the Party Dojo)
- A mix of erratic laser beams and balls of energy, similar to Werewire's attack but faster.
- Large lasers snake around the bullet board, trying to intercept the SOUL.
BeCold
Increases MERCY by 12% when used alone, or 7% in conjunction with S-Action or R-Action.
BeTough
Increases MERCY by 16%.
BeSweet
Increases MERCY by 5% and raises the effectiveness of all ACTs by 1× the normal amount. (For example, S-Action would increase MERCY by 12% before using BeSweet, then by 24% after using BeSweet, then by 36% after using BeSweet again, etc.) This effect stacks up to 10× the normal amount.
S-Action
Increases MERCY by 12% when used alone, or 7% in conjunction with BeCold or R-Action.
R-Action
Increases MERCY by 12% when used alone, or 7% in conjunction with BeCold or S-Action.
- Using "Spare" directly increases mercy by 5%. It is not affected by "BeSweet".
- The laser snake attack can be grazed for TP by moving along the perimeter continuously. This does not work in the Party Dojo unless there is only 1 Werewerewire left standing using the attack or both using the attack at the same time.

- The cone on Werewerewire's face resembles a Wi-Fi symbol, a reference to them being "wireless". This idea was reused from a Werewire design having its wires as a nose instead of extending above the screen, seen in the Unseen Chapter 2 Concept Art.
- The phrase "The air crackles with fighting spirit!", which appears in the narration for one of Werewerewire's acts, is similar to the phrases "The air crackles with freedom." and "The air crackles with sound.", associated with the Shadow Crystal bosses and the Sound of Justice, a representation of a Shadow Crystal boss, respectively. These are the only uses of this wording.
- Werewerewire's wish in the recruit information references the famous quote from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann by Simon: My Drill is the Drill that will pierce the heavens.
