Bread

The Bread (JP: パン) is a Light World item found in Hometown during the Weird Route in Chapter 5. It is given to Kris by Sans while his ice cream machine churns.

This item is required for the Weird Route's progression, as it is needed in order to visit Noelle by the Lake. Attempting to use it when Susie is present prompts Susie to tell them not to eat it so they can use it to make ice cream sandwiches. Attempting to use the Bread after separating from Susie will cause a dialogue box with the text "(Bread.)" to appear.

Attempting to drop the Bread prompts a dialogue box reading "(Couldn't.)" to appear.

If the following scene at the Lake is not completed, the Bread item will disappear from Kris's inventory.
