Kikky

Kikky (JP: キッキー) is a recurring character in Deltarune, mostly present in the Mike minigames.

Profile

Appearance

Kikky is a pixelated, realistic silhouette of a cat, which appears in white, light blue, yellow, red, and blue variants.

Personality

Kikky mostly behaves similarly to a real-world house cat. She is fond of chew toys, and interacting with them increases her happiness. Unlike real cats, Kikky is a facultative biped, being able to stand on two legs to perform a human-like dance.

Etymology

Kikky is the name of Toby Fox's cat.^[1] It is presumably derived from the word "kitty".

Main story

Kikky appears in the Battat, Jongler, and Pluey minigames in Chapter 4, and the Nagasagy Kikky Park minigame in Chapter 5. When not in use, the Mikes take care of her.^[2]

Creation and development

Kikky is Toby Fox's cat.^[1] He added an "accurate simulator" of her into Deltarune in the form of Nagasagy Kikky Park, because she was repeatedly losing the same chew toy and yelling about it.^[3]

Outside of Deltarune

Kikky appears in Spamton Sweepstakes, in the rarecats minigame.
