QC greeting Kris, Chapter 1
QC[note 1] is a returning character in Deltarune. She is a friendly resident in Hometown who owns the local QC's Diner, which has Catti and Dress Lion as employees.
QC is a slightly plump purple leporine monster with long ears, dark purple eyelids with wide, relaxed eyes, a small nose, a set of whiskers, and buck teeth. While working at her diner, she wears a collared light blue waitress uniform with short sleeves and an apron.
QC is gentle, kind, considerate, and personable. She enjoys the company of the townsfolk, as her diner's wall contains reviews and autographs from them. QC is observant, and can be nostalgic about visits from her regulars.[1] She appears to enjoy making sweet, home-made food in her diner such as Hot Chocolate, some of which are bunny-shaped.[2] She also appears to favor a rustic, homey atmosphere to her diner, including the diner uniforms.
When Toriel drives Kris to school, QC stands beside Politics Bear near the hospital's street corner. QC notices Toriel's car and waves to them.
After the Eastern Fountain is sealed, Kris can visit QC's Diner. If spoken to, QC acknowledges she has not seen Kris since they were with Asriel, and recalls when the Dreemurr family visited her diner to order the special after church service.[1] When she notices Kris's discomfort, she gives them a free hot chocolate, and encourages them to visit. This interaction can transfer via Completion FILE.
In Chapter 2, if Kris did not previously interact with QC in Chapter 1, QC comments on Catti's family always asking when Catti would be working so they can cheer for her. She admits she has "never seen anything like it", but considers it nice they are supportive.[3] When interacted with again, she asks how Kris is doing, but is unable to hear them due to Catty being noisy.
If Kris previously interacted with her in Chapter 1, QC asks if Kris enjoyed the hot chocolate, and after a pause, assumes they did. She then asks Kris to "take it easy", and reassures Kris that their brother will return soon.[4]
In Chapter 4, QC can be found at her diner's counter. She comments on Kris visiting after church being nostalgic, and assumes they are ordering the usual special. If Kris does not have at least 5 dollars, she suggests they may have some money at home.
After paying, QC invites them to any seat. When she returns with the food, she also offers a free sundae to Susie. When Kris and Susie finish their food, QC asks them to clean up the table a bit before they leave. Afterwards, she can ask if Kris wants more, though she assumes Toriel may get upset if they ate so much without her.
In Chapter 5, before the Festival, QC can be seen on a stand in front of her diner alongside her sister. She can be heard discussing wanting to buy flowers, but feels bad for Asgore, who tries giving them away for free. She mentions having to insist paying despite the offer.
Later at the Festival, If Kris and Susie did not eat at the diner in Chapter 4, QC comments that it has been a while since she saw Kris and Noelle spending time together, and offers them a rolled cinnamon bun for $13. Susie considers it a waste of money, but Noelle buys one for her anyway. QC will wonder if she should start talking to Susie before throwing out the leftovers. Otherwise, she comments on being happy for Kris bringing a friend, and that Kris, Susie, and Noelle should all come back to hang out at the diner another time.
Her sister states that her cooking is better than QC's, but QC will not admit it.
In the UNDERTALE 10th Anniversary Stream, Toby Fox states that QC's name spelled backwards is an acronym reference to Gigi D.G.'s rabbit webcomic Cucumber Quest.[5]
In Undertale, QC works as the shopkeeper in Snowdin Town and sells items such as the Cinnamon Bunny.
- The rolled up cinnamon bunnies she sells during the Festival are a reference to the same item found in her shop in Undertale.
