Crowd
The crowd are Darkners from TV World in Chapter 3. They cheer for Tenna and the TV Time contestants throughout TV World, occasionally showering them with roses.
TV World's crowd are composed of non-descriptive black silhouettes with white outlines. They can only be seen in the foreground, but in some open areas, another crowd can be seen in the background. This one is composed of figures that resemble Tenna, and they take pictures of the contestants with cameras and smartphones.
Silhouettes resembling TV World's crowd appear in a flashback during Chapter 2, where they cheer on Berdly after he wins the spelling contest.
Before the crowd makes its first proper appearance, their cheering can be heard when the party solves the clock puzzle in the couch cliffs. They are present while and after Tenna introduces TV Time to the party in the Before the Show area. They appear in front of the stage during the start and end of the first two rounds, but they are absent for the third round.
The crowd watches the Rock Video concert, and can be seen before and after the song. During the song, the crowd cheers when the contestants reach maximum POPULARITY. Their usually white outlines are tinted blue from the lighting in this room.
After the third round, the crowd appears sporadically during red carpeted segments of TV World. On one occasion, the crowd cheers if the party finds a TV Dinner in a treasure chest. In another, they boo the party for going to a dead end with nothing in it. In another, a tiny crowd member can be found in a treasure chest and start cheering, to which the rest of the crowd will soon follow. The crowd does not appear if enemies have been defeated with violence.
During the fight with Tenna, the front row of the crowd can be seen behind the UI doing a Mexican wave.
