Pizzapants (JP: ピザパン) is a returning character in Deltarune. His actual name is unknown, as everyone refers to him as Pizzapants.[3] He works at Hometown's ICE-E's P"E"ZZA alongside his co-workers Blue Ears, The Warrior, and Purple Guy.
Pizzapants resembles an anthropomorphic orange cat-like monster. He has additional tufts of fur on his head and chin. When not wearing his ICE-E mascot suit, Pizzapants wears a yellow shirt and a small hat.
His face frequently contorts into various exaggerated expressions, often completely changing the shape of his head, to accentuate his speech. This is especially obvious in his dialogue portrait.
Pizzapants is cynical, and he hates his job and co-workers. However, he seems a little more amicable when speaking to Kris and speaks positively of Asriel. He wishes to obtain a theater degree and become a movie star.
Before the events of Deltarune, Pizzapants was good friends with Asriel and the two would usually "cruise around the town". At one point, Pizzapants received a speeding ticket from Officer Undyne for driving too fast. When Asriel left for college, Pizzapants found himself working as an employee for ICE-E's P"E"ZZA, and from that point, he began saving for college in hopes of earning a theater degree.
In Chapter 1, after Kris seals the Eastern Fountain, Pizzapants can be found standing outside ICE-E's P"E"ZZA alongside Blue Ears and Purple Guy. He is shown dressed in an ICE-E mascot suit waving his arms. When spoken to, Pizzapants removes his mask and greets Kris amicably. He talks about his past, his relationship with his co-workers, and his dreams of leaving for college to meet up with Asriel. If Kris selects the "No" option, Pizzapants assures them that he will be fine and advises them to enjoy their freedom while it lasts.
In Chapter 2, Pizzapants is seated at one of the tables inside ICE-E's P"E"ZZA in his regular employee outfit. He is shown in good spirits due to having gotten himself a "girlfriend", claiming that she loves pizza and bikinis. His co-worker Blue Ears even notices his energetic mood and appears happy for him.
After showing Kris a photo of her from his phone, Pizzapants asks Kris to inform Asriel about this in hopes of making him proud. However, he is unaware that the "girlfriend" he conversed with is actually Bratty messing with him using a zoomed-in JPEG of a pepperoni pizza.
In Chapter 4, Pizzapants can be found to the left of ICE-E's P"E"ZZA, manning a temporary pizza stand while The Warrior repairs the restaurant's sign. When interacted with, he excitedly tells Kris and Susie about the date he has scheduled with "Pizzarina" that evening.
Following the visit to Noelle's House, Pizzapants is still waiting at his stand, and reveals to Kris that "Pizzarina" stood him up. However, "Pizzarina" messages him to tell him that she baked a plate of cookies for him and left them by the pizzeria. Under the cookies, he finds a note where she asks him to meet her at the festival. Immediately afterward, Blue Ears can be found in front of the restaurant, implying he was the one who left the cookies.
In Chapter 5, Pizzapants can initially be found standing by the hospital, still wearing his suit and holding a microphone on a stand. He invites Kris to attend a concert he is holding for the festival, where "Pizzarina" will apparently come onstage to perform a love song with him at their first real meeting. On further interaction, he describes himself as Asriel and Dess's #1 band groupie, saying how they didn't really practice their instruments.[4]
Pizzapants can later be found on a stage in front of Noelle's House, awaiting his girlfriend to begin performing to a crowd. Standing among them are Bratty, Blue Ears, and Catty. Bratty reveals that she was impersonating "Pizzarina" to ridicule him, but passed off the persona to Blue Ears during Chapter 4. Any of them can be prompted to join Pizzapants onstage, resulting in different outcomes:
- Bratty: Bratty initially wants to get it over with and dump Pizzapants afterwards while faking her death to avoid social stigma, but later is charmed by Pizzapants's genuine care for her and possibly bribed by the notion of unlimited free pizza as long as they date. Pizzapants invites Bratty to ride the Ferris wheel and runs off with her in tow, hand-in-hand. Blue Ears is content and proposes a new "Pizza and Poison" ice cream to celebrate their pairing, while Catty is surprised anyone would like Bratty.
- Blue Ears: Pizzapants is confused, but Blue Ears lies and tells Pizzapants that "Pizzarina" was busy, so she sent him to stand in for her with the song she wrote. They perform, but after the concert Blue Ears guiltily reveals he had catfished Pizzapants as "Pizzarina" after Bratty dumped the responsibility on him. Pizzapants feels betrayed by this, and blows up on Blue Ears before storming off. Blue Ears's attempts to console Pizzapants during his outburst are ineffectual. Blue Ears is left too shocked to speak to Kris. Talking to Bratty has her admit it was a bad idea, attempting to get Kris to help her reconcile with Blue Ears. Instead, Blue Ears tells Kris that he is no longer friends with Bratty. Catty is confused by the ordeal and focuses on cookies instead.
- Catty: Catty immediately announces all the embarrassing facts she knows about Pizzapants, but performs with him out of apparent pity. After the concert, she talks further with him about "Pizzarina" where he reveals a devout dedication to her. Catty is moved to tears by this, theorizing if "Pizzarina" may have died before making it to the concert. Pizzapants awkwardly attempts to comfort her, patting her back, where Catty has a change of perspective and suddenly develops a shallow affection for Pizzapants. She says Pizzarina's name made her hungry, asks Pizzapants to take her to ICE-E's, and proposes forming a band with him. Pizzapants confusedly agrees to all, and Catty immediately forgets about crying and runs off while holding Pizzapants by the neck. Bratty is somehow jealous of her, and Blue Ears is happy that Pizzapants is doing okay, proposing a "Pizza and Cat Hair" flavored ice cream while wishing he could have a more direct way of making Pizzapants happy.
Pizzapants is good friends with Asriel and holds him in high regard. He wishes to meet up with Asriel again at college, wanting to impress him with the accomplishments he has made in his life. When believing he finally got a "girlfriend" in Chapter 2, Pizzapants excitedly asks Kris to let Asriel know about this.
Pizzapants enjoys conversing with Kris and often gives them life advice on certain occasions. He even refers to them as "Little Buddy" as a sign of amicable fondness towards Asriel's younger sibling. He believes Kris had talent while performing in the band, and that they could try performing solo.
Much like her counterpart in Undertale, she likes to mess with Pizzapants. In Chapter 2, it is revealed that Pizzapants's new "girlfriend" is just Bratty playing a prank on him using a zoomed-in JPEG of a pepperoni pizza. If Bratty is chosen to perform with Pizzapants, she develops an affection for him and ends up as his girlfriend.
Pizzapants and Catty are not seen interacting until his Festival performance, where, if she is chosen to perform with him, she develops a shallow affection for him and asks him to form a band.
Blue Ears, known as the Nice Cream guy in Undertale, is one of Pizzapants's co-workers. He is generally friendly toward everyone he meets, including Pizzapants, who he has a habit of accidentally spilling slushies on. At some point after Chapter 2, Blue Ears is implied to have taken over the "Pizzarina" persona created by Bratty. After "Pizzarina" fails to appear for a date with Pizzapants in Chapter 4, Blue Ears leaves him a plate of cookies with an invitation to the upcoming festival, saying he just wants Pizzapants to be happy.
If Blue Ears is chosen to perform with Pizzapants on stage during the Festival, he admits that Pizzapants was catfished after the performance. Pizzapants bursts out at him, believing Blue Ears was playing with his emotions, and leaving him in shock.
Toby Fox describes that for comedic lines, he ensures that he and his friends laugh. He then tries to improve upon it if his friends do not laugh. Toby mentions that he had used Pizzapants's dialogue about some texts he received in the then-upcoming Chapter 4 as an example.[5]
In Undertale, Pizzapants is named "Burgerpants", and works as an employee of MTT-Brand Burger Emporium, a fast-food restaurant located inside the MTT Resort. He is the last vendor in the game and sells the most-expensive and potent healing items. He is also friends with Nice Cream guy.

- In his Chapter 4 dialogue, Pizzapants mentions that Pizzarina sent him a "vintage" meme of a "frog riding a bicycle". This references the Dat Boi meme.
