Flowery
Heh. Sorry to keep you waiting, old pal.
Flowery, Chapter 5
Flowery is a character from Flower King and the main antagonist in Chapter 5 of Deltarune. He is one of the seven flowers that composed Asgore and Toriel's wedding bouquet, and acts as their overall leader.
Flowery is a human-like golden flower, manifested in a human like form in the dark world, being extremely similar to a human except that Flowery’s skin is a bright yellow alongside his hair. Flowery has short hair, with the top of his hair and bangs being swayed to the right and slightly upwards. Flowery’s eyes are constantly closed no matter the expression.
Flowery’s outfit consists of a white collared shirt overlaid with an orange and green vest and a black cape (or jacket?) on top of the outfit, along with brown trousers and black shoes,
When Flowery receives the power of all the other flower Darkners, he transforms into a pastel rainbow silhouette, consisting of an outline with a darker tone of the same colors.
Flowery initially poses as the stereotype of a preppy college student - high-class, sociable, appearance-conscious and somewhat bossy. He notably acts extremely protective and friendly towards Asgore due to the circumstances leading to his life being extended beyond expectations thanks to the florist's extended care.
Flowery strongly values the power of friendship and deeply cares for the other flower darkners, in turn, they look up to him as a dependable and virtuous authority figure. He has heightened awareness of the Dark World and its functioning, but in turn, values little the world's ultimate fate, believing that nurturing Asgore's happiness as he nurtured theirs takes priority. He starkly opposes Ralsei's fatalistic view of a determined journey guided by the prophecy, fully believing that Darkners are able to master their own fates and choose freedom over the shackles of fate.
He has the ability to fake his stats, giving him unbelievable amounts of power. However, certain foes can overlook this.
The fake stats Come from His imagination,Which is Why the Roaring Knight Could be able to override them
Flowery is one letter off from, likely a reference to how Papyrus mispronounces his name, and is heavily inspired by Flowey, the main antagonist of Undertale; the other flowers under his leadership reference the six other human souls that Undertale's Asgore gathered in order to break the barrier, in both their designs and associated virtues, with their personal attacks in particular mimicking those found in the Omega Flowey fight.
Flowery first appears in an anime styled cutscene, with his general demeanor greatly annoying Ralsei.
Flowery introduces the Orange Soul Mode, which allows you to dash through the blue walls that appear all around his fight. Flowery's attacks are special in that the bounding box is greatly extended and there are white lines on the background of the battle box that flow left, giving the appearance of constant movement/flying.
The attacks occur in sequence (i think? at least for the first section? remove this when confirmed)
Attack 1: Stem attack where stems that go from the top of the box to the bottom of the box fly at the player, at first alone then in series of stems. Apart from the last three stems, the stems are broken up by blue sections that can be dashed through. Before the last three entirely white stems, there's a blue pie that allows the player to fly over the three white stems when dashed into.
There's no discernible difference between charging up a dash and pressing down the dash key (there might be a difference between a charged dash and a press dash on the parrying? we have never saw one, remove this when confirmed)
For when he begins to charge at you, try to keep him at the bottom of the alley and the fans that fly at you will bounce off of the wall and immediately get out of your way.
With Seth's attack, patience is key; try to stay in the middle and instead wait for the words to pass and create an opening- do not value the healing words, as they don't seem to do much.
With the jumping dagger-rivers from Aqua, you might have a better chance of skirting around the lilypads and dashing through the daggers; it's a 50/50 shot of not getting hit.

- Upon playing through Chapter 5, Toby's friend said "What's the opposite of 'I miss Tenna?'". This was likely directed towards Flowery.[2]
- Flowery's form of martial arts, "Jarona", could possibly be a reference to the song My Sharona by the band The Knack.
- This is especially notable when he faces the Knight and says "Heh, how did you like my jarona?!"
