While "Pink" is not involved within Deltarune Chapter 5's main story, they are a friend of Orange, despite being unrelated. Orange calls her "Big Sis", while Pink refers to her as "Ory".

In battle

Pink re-uses the Purple SOUL Mode from Muffet's battle in UNDERTALE; The SOUL can only move on the straight lines in the background of the battle box. Additionally, the player's TP cap is reduced to 8 at the end of each phase, but can be increased by collecting pink hearts during Pink's attacks, which also give 1 TP and a slight heal each.

Attacks

Strategy

(rough draft, please polish later)

Pink can only be beaten by ACTing, so rearrange accessories appropiately to maximaize survival. Despite what the Mercy% suggests by going up 25%, Pink only has three phases, each of which are advanced by filling her Doki meter. 15 Doki is required to move past phases 1 and 2 while 20 is required for phase 3.

For the first two phases, unless healing is needed, spend the first few turns flirting with Kris and Susie (if enough TP, block or heal otherwise) while using the “LovelyBoy” action with Ralsei. This action will increase your Max TP, allowing you to maximize the efficiency of each turn. Use this ACT with Ralsei whenever possible until you get at least 80% Max TP, and flirt with Kris and Susie until you have done so 5 times. Once you have done both and have at least 80 TP, use Kris’ “GigaFlirt” ACT which will give you 10 Doki, getting past the phase after a dating sim section.

Since filling the Doki meter will immediately transition the battle into one of the dating simulation sections of the fight, using an action, such as MegaFlirt or GigaFlirt, to add 5 and 10 Doki can immediately progress the fight (and skip Pink’s next attack) if Pink is at high Doki. Since the fight progresses in difficulty, especially for Pink’s final attack, it is recommended to heal the party up before progressing the fight.

It is worth noting that Susie’s ShareFood ACT gives more Doki than Flirt (common buyable items like GreenTea or LancerCookie give 2 Doki, while rarer items like the Spincake or Treecake give 3), and also doesn’t require TP. It is not recommended if you see yourself needing those items for later in the fight, however.

Another thing worth noting is how depending on how much party members are down, you gain more Doki when using the Flirt ACT. If one party member is down, you gain 2 Doki per flirt, and if two party members are down, it becomes 3 Doki per flirt. If you feel confident about being able to beat Pink with just only 2 or less party members, it would be recommended to not use up an item to recover them and just wait for them to recover on their own, especially if you’re running low on healing items.

In the dating sim section picks from a random pool of questions. When you get a question wrong, you take damage and get to try again.

For phase 3, 20 Doki is required. Like the first two phases use LovelyBoy with Ralsei early on. The strategy with ACTs is mostly the same, except you should use at least 1 MegaFlirt. Unlike GigaFlirts, MegaFlirts can be used without needing all 3 party members (though it can be used with all 3 for less TP), so you can sneak in one if you have high TP but also need to heal with another party members. Other than that, the strategy for phase 3 is mostly the same.

Pink’s final “attack” inside the dating simulator is unique and challenging. The SOUL must navigate a maze while avoiding red “DIE!” bullets and make their way to the final “It’s OK!” option. Getting hit by a DIE! bullet will reset the SOUL’s potion to the front, so a player should stop inputting if they anticipate that they will get caught. The DIE! options move more quickly as the SOUL progresses, so anticipating a hit will give the SOUL more of a grace period. Players experienced with using controllers may find it beneficial to use them instead of a keyboard, as thumbstick inputs can be more forgiving than the arrow keys. The attack is made much easier by glowing white “checkpoints” off of the main route of the maze that serve as checkpoints and safe spots from the bullets.

Pink's attacks are coded to have the CAT element. Because the Mannequin's ??? ability secretly reduces CAT damage by 35%, equipping it onto Kris specifically for this battle, while optional, drastically improves their longetivity.
