Pippins, Chapter 3
The cactus (JP: サボテン) is a plant from the Light World located in the hallway on the second floor of the Dreemurr residence. It becomes sentient in the TV World, where it has a shy demeanor and is smitten with Kris.
The cactus's true appearance in the Dark World is unknown, as it hides behind a curtain most of the time. It has the appearance of a real cactus in The Legend of Tenna, but it is unknown if this is what the cactus truly looks like. Replicas of the cactus are in the Green Room, but this could be modeled after its appearance in the Light World rather than the Dark World.
The cactus blushes whenever Kris stands next to it in The Legend of Tenna. It is too shy to express its true feelings to them.
The cactus's Light World counterpart can be seen during Chapters 1 and 2, but it does not make an appearance as a character until Chapter 3.
The cactus is first seen in the Desert Board, hiding amongst many other cacti in the cactus field. When Kris approaches with HERO_SWORD, it blushes, and it cannot damage their character, unlike the other cacti. Kris can push the cactus away, revealing a hidden key.
Replicas of the Dreemurr residence cactus are found in the Green Room, but they are not the actual cactus.
After obtaining at least an S-rank during the Desert Board, or purchasing a counterfeit S-rank in the red carpet hall, the cactus can be found hiding behind a curtain in the S-rank changing room. When Kris interacts with the curtain, the cactus reacts in surprise and pushes them away. This causes the Saber10, a saber made of 10 cactus needles, to get stuck to Kris's hand.
The cactus appears in the Island Board, hiding amongst the palm trees in the same room containing the lost lover. A photo of it can be taken, providing a Grand Photo.
After obtaining at least an S-rank during the Island Board, or purchasing a counterfeit S-rank in the red carpet hall, the cactus can be found hiding behind a curtain in the S-rank changing room. When Kris interacts with the curtain, the cactus talks to itself, wondering if it is appropriate for it to appear and dream like it currently does. It stops talking as Kris approaches closer to listen to it.
During the encounter with the Watercooler in TV World, the cactus is hiding behind a curtain, watching the battle. If Kris flirts with the Watercooler, the cactus becomes sad, saying how the Watercooler "was so brave... to put herself out there like that".
The cactus reappears in Chapter 5 in its Light World counterpart, now with a single bud blooming on it.
