ChainMail

The ChainMail (JP: チェーンメイル) is an armor that can be found during Chapter 2 of Deltarune. It gives +3 DF and can be equipped to any party member, being functionally identical to GingerGuard except obtained earlier. It is located in a chest on Queen's Mansion's Floor 1F, in the room where the Hacker is searching for a secret backdoor. This room is not reachable in the Weird Route, thus making it unobtainable.

Trivia

• The item and its flavor text is a play on words, referring to both chain mail armor and chain letters.
• Contrary to the flavor text implying that the item can lose its defensive rating, it consistently grants the wearer +3 DF in each Chapter.
