7 Colored Flowers
Thank you for watching our dream.
Blue, Chapter 5
The 7 Colored Flowers (JP: 7色の花)[1] are plants and the primary recurring antagonists in Chapter 5 of Deltarune. They view themselves as humans, and their aim is to give Asgore a perfect world where he can forget about the struggles of his regular life.
In the Light World, the flowers were part of Asgore's wedding bouquet that he grew specifically for his and Toriel's wedding. Each flower was only supposed to live for a single day, but through Asgore's love and care, he has been able to preserve them for many years longer than their natural lifespan.
The seven flowers each correspond to one of the flowers in Asgore's shop, with the exception of Pink. Their colors, traits, attacks and equipment link them heavily to the eight humans from Undertale and their SOULs. Additionally, Flowery resembles Undertale's Flowey rather than any human.
| Image | Name | Color | Trait | In Undertale | Items | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Aqua | Cyan[2] | Patience | Light blue SOUL[3] | Knife and ribbon | She is the only one to have a different name (Aqua), Light World color (cyan), and corresponding SOUL color (light blue), despite all three referring to the same shade of color.
Despite corresponding to the Patience SOUL, she is particularly impatient.[4] | |
| Seth | Purple | Perseverance | Purple SOUL | Book and glasses | A piece of dialogue implies Seth's original name was Purple, corresponding to their associated flower/SOUL color, before they chose a new, more "human" name. | |
| Blue | Blue | Integrity | Blue SOUL | Ballet shoes and tutu | ||
| Orange | Orange | Bravery | Orange SOUL | Boxing glove and bandanna | ||
| Yellow | Yellow | Justice | Yellow SOUL | Gun and cowboy hat | ||
| Green | Green | Kindness | Green SOUL | Pan and apron | The green SOUL in Undertale is also associated with an apron. Though Green does not appear to wear one, their Flower item, the GreenApron, calls back to it. | |
| Flowery | Golden | - | Flowey | - |

Additionally Pink, while not a flower, claims to be a member of the seven flowers and is seen as a sister by the other members. In reality, she is a Lightner ghost possessing an action figure of Mew Mew. Her Undertale counterpart is Mad Mew Mew.
When entering Flower King after it formed the dark fountain, we see Asgore talking to someone which later to be revealed as Flowery.
Later in the Garden, the party finds Aqua and Seth. Seth leaves, telling Aqua not to let the party get the Petal Feather. Aqua takes various actions in an attempt to be more human-like. After battling with Kris in what she calls a game, she is convinced to let the party pass and obtain the feather. Aqua and Seth are seen together in the Cliffs, first debating actions taken to mimic humans. They clash with the party multiple times through the course of the area.
The party encounters the four other flowers, two per wing, in Flower Castle. Both of the pairs fight the party, and the situation is resolved after the encounter. The flowers collaborate to create challenges for the party at the Top of Castle gauntlet.
