Bandage

The Bandage (JP: ばんそうこう) is Kris's default armor in the Light World. Unlike Kris's Light World weapons, the Bandage does not have a Dark World counterpart, as it is only viewable in the Light World inventory.

In Chapter 2, equipping the Silver Watch causes the Wristwatch to replace the Bandage as Kris's armor, but does not place it in their Light World inventory, causing it to disappear.

Prior to Chapter 4's version 1.05 update, it was possible to obtain the Bandage as a consumable in Kris's Light World inventory via a Completion FILE that completed Chapter 2's Weird Route. If the Silver Watch was equipped, the game would fail to remove it from the inventory and properly replace the Wristwatch with the Bandage, resulting in the Bandage being placed in the Light World inventory with the Wristwatch still equipped.

If the Bandage is unequipped, it is a consumable that recovers 1 HP, although there is currently no way to unequip it as of Chapter 5 without modifying the game's files.

Trivia

  • It is mechanically similar to its counterpart in Undertale, and is also a default armor. However, its Undertale counterpart recovers 10 HP, whereas in Deltarune, it only recovers 1 HP.
  • The Japanese name of this item in Deltarune refers to an adhesive bandage, while its Undertale counterpart refers to a wrap bandage.
