Shrubbery
Shrubbery (JP: 茂み) is an interactable topiary in Chapter 5 of Deltarune found in the Garden. It spoofs Flowery's likeness, similar to Spikery, Signery, Chairery, and Laddery.
Shrubbery is a Flowery-shaped topiary. It is likely that Sheary created Shrubbery, as an umbrella explains that Shearies trim the shrubs found throughout the Garden.[2]
Though Shrubbery is named in the pattern of the other spoof objects (being a portmanteau of "shrub" and "Flowery"), shrubbery is also the name of a garden where shrubs are planted. Unlike other spoofs, Shrubbery's Japanese name is not a pun on the name "Flowery", but rather a literal translation of the word "shrubbery".[3]
Once Top of Castle becomes accessible, upon returning to Way Home via the End of Garden shortcut door, Shrubbery blocks the south exit to the pressure plate puzzle room. Upon interaction, the narration reads "Shrubbery. It's conveniently-shaped, but not conveniently placed.". Another unreachable Shrubbery also appears in the room with flowers colored in the shape of Flowery's face.
In the scissors puzzle room in the Garden, two Shearies are trimming a similar topiary of Flowery carrying Asgore. To progress, the player must guide the scissors into this topiary, cutting it down and causing an encounter against the Shearies.
In Flower Castle's foyer, a very large topiary of Flowery is holding two topiaries of Asgore. These topiaries must be cut down with the two pairs of scissors accessible by completing each wing of the castle. Cutting at least one Asgore topiary unlocks the giant watering can behind it. However, attempting to carry the watering can to the nearby sprout before cutting the other Asgore topiary results in the Flowery topiary blocking the party with its leg, playing the "Yes" voice clip. Cutting the second Asgore topiary also cuts the Flowery topiary, enabling the player to water the sprout and access Top of Castle.
