Dollar
The dollar ($) is a currency only used in the Light World.
The only known use for dollars is to buy the special from QC at QC's Diner for $5 in Chapter 4, which prompts an optional cutscene with Kris and Susie.
At the beginning of Chapter 1, Kris starts with 2 dollars. It is not possible to get more in Chapter 1.
At the beginning of Chapter 2, it is possible to "borrow" 5 dollars from Asriel's drawer in the Dreemurr residence. Kris can also get $5 by giving Undyne's Box of Heart Candy to Sans at his shop via selecting "USE" from the Light World inventory.
In Chapter 4, another $5 can be "borrowed" from Asriel's drawer, regardless of whether or not any was taken in Chapter 2. As this can only be done with Susie in the party, she comments positively on Kris taking the money. If this is done after QC suggests that Kris finds money at their home, Susie jokingly remarks that it is nice that Asriel is treating them to the diner.

- Pizzapants brings 10-dollar flowers to his date with Pizzarina in Chapter 4.
- At the library, Berdly offers to reduce the Dreemurr family's fine for an overdue copy of How to Draw Dragons to $64.23 if the book is returned within the week. This amount is currently unobtainable.
- As of Chapter 4, the most money Kris can obtain in the Light World is $17.
