Broken Cake

The Broken Cake (JP: こわれたケーキ Kowareta Kēki), formatted as BrokenCake in the inventory, is a Key Item that can be obtained during Chapter 1 of Deltarune. In Field, Kris can examine Top Chef's destroyed cake, and choose to take a piece of it. It was commissioned by a Hathy for Clover's birthday party, but Susie devoured part of it before being spritzed with water by Top Chef.
If brought to the smith Malius, they exclaim about its power and repair it, changing the Broken Cake into the Top Cake.
If the party returns to Top Chef with the Top Cake, he is delighted that his cake has been repaired and asks them to give it back. If they choose to do so, he rewards them with one of his rejected cakes, SpinCake, which can be re-obtained infinitely as long as they have room in their inventory and do not currently have one.
Broken Cake's location
There exists an unused, consumable version of the Broken Cake Key Item. If put into the normal inventory via save file editing, it heals 20 HP to one party member. There is no dialogue from party members when it is used.
