Wet-Nose Bandits, Chapter 2
The Wet-Nose Bandits (JP: ウェット・ノーズ・バンディッツ Wet Nose Bandits) are returning characters in Deltarune. They are infamous dog-burglars, composed of Doggo, Lesser Dog, Dogamy, Dogaressa, and Greater Dog. They are initially imprisoned in Hometown's Police Station.
The Wet-Nose Bandits are dog monsters that wear black and white striped prison outfits and berets.
Doggo is a lanky dog monster with a long snout. He wears sunglasses, black pants, and a striped tank top with a face on it.
Lesser Dog is a short, off-white dog monster with a small beret on his head. He wears black pants, and his tongue is constantly hanging from his mouth.
Dogamy and Dogaressa are identical-looking dog monsters with long snouts. They both wear black pants. Dogamy has long eyebrows, and Dogaressa has visible eyelashes.
Greater Dog is a large dog monster that wears striped pants and black shoes.
The Wet-Nose Bandits are petty burglars. They enjoy singing holiday songs with Napstablook and consider being captured by Undyne as being thrown into a loving embrace. They seem unaware that some actions they consider crimes are completely legal.
The group's name is likely a reference to the Wet Bandits, the duo of burglars in the film Home Alone.
In Chapter 2, the Wet-Nose Bandits are locked up in the Police Station. They reveal that they got arrested by Undyne when trying to sneak into a large house over the holidays. Napstablook constantly gives them low-calorie treats. If Kris attempts to tell Undyne about the Dark World, she laughs so hard at their "joke" that she smashes her desk. This sends the key to the jail cell flying right into the lock, freeing the prisoners. The Wet-Nose Bandits then escape with Undyne chasing after them.
In Chapter 4, the Wet-Nose Bandits can be found in the library. When talking to Dogamy or Dogaressa, one of them says they will take the books without paying, read them and then secretly return them, unaware that this is part of how a library functions anyway. One wonders how Napstablook is doing without the presence of Undyne, and contemplates if they should check on them.
If Kris interacts with Lesser Dog, the narration states that "Its mind has been expanded. ... by reading." Kris cannot interact with either Greater Dog or Doggo, as Dogamy and Lesser Dog are in the way.
In Undertale, Doggo, Lesser Dog, Dogamy and Dogaressa, and Greater Dog are members of the Snowdin Canine Unit faction of the Royal Guard. Each member is battled in Snowdin and later appear in Grillby's.
