Napstablook (JP: ナプスタブルーク) (/ˈnæpstəˌbluːk/)[3] is a returning character in Deltarune. They work with Undyne as one of Hometown's police officers at the Police Station. Napstablook lives in the Blook house with their cousins,[4] "nobody" and irritable ghost.
Napstablook resembles a simple ghost with a long white body and two eyes with black sclerae and white pupils. When on duty, they wear a navy blue police hat.
Napstablook is an introverted ghost with low self-esteem. They are often apologetic, and mostly appear to be nervous when speaking to others. They are shown to withdraw from others at inopportune times, and they struggle to keep things under control without leadership. Napstablook expresses a love for making remixes of the songs they create.
Before the events of Deltarune, Napstablook became a police officer by accident, but could not bring themselves to quit due to their cousins relying on them.[4] At one point during an incident where Undyne rescued all of Catti's family from a tree, Napstablook became stuck there as well.
It is implied they mistakenly returned their diary to the library instead of their borrowed book, which forces them to check it out like a typical library book every time they want to write a new entry.[5]
Although not physically present in Chapter 1, Napstablook reacts when Kris knocks at the door to the Police Station by closing the blinds, apparently "not feeling it right now".
Napstablook makes a physical appearance at the end of Chapter 2 with Undyne at the Police Station. When speaking to them, Napstablook explains why they cannot quit their job and warns Kris not to do anything illegal. After Undyne accidentally releases the Wet-Nose Bandits, Napstablook sounds the jailbreak alarm from their boom box. This song is a remix of their mixtape.
Napstablook is shown being slowly and repeatedly run over by Snail Guy outside the Police Station. When speaking to them, Napstablook states that Undyne has not been seen since last night and that they are struggling to direct traffic without her. They also state that she was in charge of an important code related to the shelter, and they mention this was the only thing that ever made her nervous.
They are seen at the festival outside the police station. Due to Undyne's absence, they are forced to run the 'strength tester' game in her place. If the player expresses that they do not know how to play, Napstablook will attempt to explain, saying:
"oh... okay"
"..."
"oh... my hands are phasing through the hammer..."
"oh... i can't pick it up..."
"oh..."
"..."
"anyway, that's the gist of it."
In Undertale, Napstablook first appears as a miniboss in the Ruins, where they can skip omitting an attack in an encounter on the second turn due to not feeling like attacking. They live in the Waterfall area and are a musician/DJ who enjoys making their own music.
In the True Pacifist Route, Napstablook closes their blinds when they hear a knock at the door, though they are unaware of what became of the entirety of monsterkind at this time.

In ENG, character name pronunciation isn't clear. But in JP I had to decide. Like, "Blook" rhymes with "Spook" instead of "Hook."
