Milk Looker[1] is a Lightner from Hometown. They first appear in the 'Sans grocery store.
Milk Looker is a yellow-colored monster that resembles a cat. They wear a white tanktop and blue pants, and hold a jug of milk above their head. Their talking animation involves their pupils repeatedly glancing towards their milk.
Milk Looker is obsessive over milk. They often appear wherever milk is present and analyze it. They are a strong judge of milk quality, evidenced by them checking every jug at the store for expiration dates and expressing concern that their milk is being diluted by the rain.
Milk Looker's dialogue is irregular, often omitting punctuation at the end of their sentences.
In Chapter 2, Milk Looker appears inside 'Sans. They say that they look at all the milks to find the best expiration date, questioning Kris if they have a problem with their habit. If the player has already triggered a special cutscene by walking to the left side of the store, Milk Looker pleads Kris to not let their family inside the grocery store whenever they are looking at milk.
In Chapter 4, Milk Looker is first seen outside the church and next to the Town Hall after service, having witnessed the awkward interaction between Toriel and Asgore. They call Kris's family a "freak family" when spoken to. Re-entering the area once causes them to leave.
Afterwards, Milk Looker can be found in the alley near the apartments, watching as Catty licks up milk from the saucer that Alphys left out. After visiting Noelle, Milk Looker is still in the alleyway, now distressed about the rain diluting the milk.
Milk Looker often speaks negatively toward Kris's family. After witnessing awkward conversations between them, they express a desire to have the family away from them, even going so far as to insult them.
Toby Fox regrets that Milk Looker despawns upon leaving their initial spawn room in Chapter 4, as this can result in the player unintentionally skipping the interaction where the character insults Kris's family.[2]
Milk Looker is mentioned by Toby Fox in Undertale's 10th Anniversary Stream. Toby comments on the possibility that they would be looking at the milk as it falls during Mettaton's cooking show segment.[1]
Milk Student, who greatly resembles Milk Looker but holds a milk carton instead of a jug, makes an appearance later in the stream, as an exchange student at Hotland High.[3] They stand outside the classroom, having forgotten their uniform, and ask the protagonist to take their place.
