The innkeeper's child[1] is a minor returning character in Deltarune.
The innkeeper's child is a monster resembling a young rabbit. Only their head can be seen, due to them either looking out of a tenement window or peeking from behind a Festival stand.
The innkeeper's child is naive, expressing confusion on subjects such as humans being made out of blood,[2] and where skeletons come from.[3]
In Chapter 1, the innkeeper's child recognizes Kris as the human who lives at the top of town and asks them if it hurts being made of blood.[2]
In Chapter 2, the innkeeper's child once again recognizes Kris and asks them where skeletons come from if humans are made of bones.[3]
In Chapter 4, the innkeeper's child asks Kris if they are not scared of Susie biting them, which prompts her to scare them into calling for their mother in return.[4]
In Chapter 5, they are seen during the Festival next to QC and the innkeeper, where Susie scares them away by saying Noelle chews rabbits' ears off.[5]
In Undertale, the innkeeper's child makes an appearance in the Snowed Inn.
