The Annoying Dog appears in all 5 Chapters, sometimes interacting with the party in humorous ways.
Explosion
Ralsei is sent flying in the wake of Lancer's realistic explosion
The explosion is a "realistic" explosion GIF that appears in each Chapter. It is an edited version of a GIF that originates from the 1993 stock footage collection "Pyromania".[1] The explosion, as well as the sound effect that usually plays alongside it, were included as default resources in early versions of GameMaker (the game engine that Deltarune uses).

Cartoon splat noise
The standard cartoon splat noiseLancer's music player playing a cartoon splat noise
A cartoon splat noise appears throughout the Chapters. Instances of it usually involve either Ralsei or Lancer.
Chapter 1
Lancer makes this noise when Susie jumps on top of him and squishes him for a team attack.
On the fourth floor of Card Castle, three Lancer portraits in the room can be interacted with to make this sound and obtain a ReviveMint.
In Card Castle, Lancer's music player in his room plays this sound, as the player is described to be "full of cartoon splat noises".
Chapter 2
"SplatNoise" is a topic disliked by Clover in her rematch encounter.
It can be heard in reverse when Susie eats the cauldron cake at Ralsei's castle.

It can be heard when Ralsei gets stepped on by Susie in order to grab a book for the Old Man.
Half of the sound can be heard if Kris steps on Ralsei afterwards. When they step off, the other half plays.
Kris can also lay down next to Ralsei if the option to "show him compassion" is selected, which plays the sound.
It can be heard when the party lands in the Dark Zone.
Chapter 5
A version of the sound can be selected for the organ in the Castle Town church.
A loud, reverberating variation of the sound can be heard in an optional cutscene in Castle Town when Kris or Tenna knock on the door to Mike's room. The sound is described as knocking gloobily.[2]
It can be heard in reverse when Kris eats an ice cream from Noelle.

It can be heard backwards during the cutscene where the party gets free drinks in the Flower Cafe.
Multiple Chapters
It can be heard when entering Lancer's room at Ralsei's castle, and in reverse upon exiting it.
It can be heard when interacting with the Lancer item in Kris's inventory in Chapters 2 and 3.
The Thrash Machine, first created in Chapter 1, reappears several times after its destruction. If the machine is a duck, it is said to "suck[s] ass". A similar event happens when designing an outfit for Susie in Chapter 5, using the Thrash Machine soundtrack, having duck options, and many other similarities.
The original Starwalker reappears in unexpected places in each Chapter if he was encountered in the Forest of Chapter 1, usually by backtracking. A variant known as the Tropical Starwalker appears in Chapter 5.
King's arena, where the dead pixel is visible in Chapter 1King's arena in the anniversary build; the new dead pixels are visible on the right
The "dead pixel" is a singular stray pixel, resembling a defective pixel, that is intentionally placed in one of the final boss fight arenas in each Chapter.
Queen's first fight, on the left side of the room.
Chapter 3
Tenna's fight in the Cold Place, near his face. Unlike the dead pixel in other Chapters, this one is much lighter and moves left and right.
Chapter 4
The Titan's fight, on the left of the room. It is only visible pre-battle, or if Susie is DOWNed during the encounter. The dead pixel in this Chapter also moves up and down.
There is also a dead pixel visible in one of the Titan's animation frames, though this could be unintentional.
Battle trios
Battle trios, or Throuples when romantically involved, are a common theme throughout Deltarune, but begin to be played for humor primarily from Chapter 3 onwards. The distinction between both is also often used to humorous effect.
Chapter 1
Kris, Susie and Ralsei form a battle trio from Chapter 1 and onward. The idea of 3 party members at a baseline is often played with, such as when Lancer or the Candy join the party, or Susie leaves.
Clover, while one entity, comprises 3 individual heads with distinct personalities, which could be considered a battle trio.
When Kris and Noelle catch up with Susie and Ralsei, she joins the group. Additionally, Berdly and Starwalker can join, but only for the one room.
Noelle does not join Kris, Susie, and Ralsei in combat while in the group, keeping their battle trio intact.
Chapter 3
Elnina and Lanino form a throuple with both Rouxls Kaard, and then the Original Starwalker if he was encountered in Chapter 1. During the Second board, Rouxls mentions that the Party are "not the only battle throuple in town", which invokes confusion and embarrassment from Susie and Ralsei. Rouxls expresses shock that the Party "are not a thinge" during the Rouxls battle as well.
Elnina and Lanino, after separating from Rouxls, mention that "the only third they need, is each other", signifying that they may think of themselves as still being a Throuple, even without Rouxls or Starwalker.
Chapter 4
Noelle joins Kris and Susie's "study group", functioning as a Light World Party.
charjoined plays, like when Susie joins the party for real, signifying the importance of a Light World trio.
The Mikes form a Battle Trio in Chapter 4. The number of Mikes that are thought to exist is often played with during and after the battle.
Elnina and Lanino continue to appear in relation to Throuples, receiving the advances of Rouxls Kaard with mixed feelings, such as when a lamp appears during their final attack in their fight in the Dojo, or when he masquerades as a lamp in Tenna's room.
Chapter 5
Noelle joins Kris and Susie at the festival, prompting similar join text to when she does it in Chapter 4.
Elnina and Lanino appear in the Dojo alongside the Original Starwalker if he was encountered, with only "Throuples" being allowed entry. One of Clover's heads does not like Cap'n, which is ignored by the Dojo.
Cap'n complains about his trouble in having multiple partners, and talks about missing Sweet and K_K, his original trio. His romance related issues stem from Clover enjoying music in a 3/4 time signature.
Pirate Dojo is played in the Dojo, having a 3/4 time signature and being composed with triplets. This is likely due to the Dojo's new found fascination with trios.
The Trashy Trio is assembled, constituting a battle trio.
At the conclusion of the fight, the Mikes appear, and begin a fight with the Trio. Upon the utterance of the word "trio" by Cowboy Mike, Elnina and Lanino also appear, stating that if they are a throuple, they would have to stop them.
Flowery's boss fight has three different trios, him with three pairs of the six flowers.
Various Chapters
A Smorgasbord resembles a battle trio, being 3 distinct combatants who fight together in tandem.
Bananas
Spinning banana
The banana, and the concept of potassium in general, appear in Chapters 2, 3, and 4.
Chapter 2
When Kris, Noelle and Queen are driving in the latter's car in Cyber City, a banana appears midway through the drive. Queen requests Kris to grab it, and if they do, she simply states "Potassium". If they do not grab it, she believes they will get sick,[3] presumably due to potassium deficiency.
The potassium gag is mentioned near the end of the Cyber City drive in Queen's car; Queen worries that "Poor Noelle [Will Clip] Into A Wall Somewhere", and "[Waste] Away From Potassium Deficiency".
Queen instructs Kris to grab the banana in her mansion
In the Acid Tunnel of Love, Queen once again requests Kris to grab a banana. Ralsei asserts they will not grab it, as they will not listen to her, but if they do, he states it is "good for [them]". If it is avoided, Queen says she wanted them to not grab it, so they become potassium deficient.[4]
Chapter 3
A banana appears in Shuttah's mouth in one of its ACTs.
The word "BANANA" appears alone in one of the quiz questions in TV World.
The same question may also use "BANANABABABA", which contains "BANANA".
Chapter 4
In the Mike battle, one of the Fruit Bonus's the Maus can offer Kris is a banana.
