QC's Diner
QC's Diner is a restaurant in central Hometown, west of the central road and east of ICE-E's P"E"ZZA. QC works as a barista behind the cash register, and the restaurant has other employees, including Catti and the Dress Lion.
In Chapter 1, QC can recall when Kris and their family used to visit on Sundays and gives them a free Hot Chocolate. This interaction transfers to Chapter 2 via Chapter 1 SAVE Completion FILE. Both Catti and Dress Lion are writing orders for the patrons. Catti is glad to see Kris is well, and interacting again causes her to admit that the outfit is mandatory. Dad Dragon and his family are present, as well as Green Fire, Flannel Demon, Ice Wolf, and Hat Monster. Most of them are enjoying their orders.
In Chapter 2, Susie refuses to enter the diner, as she knows Catti dislikes her. Inside, Catti's family and Jockington are present, all of whom are supporting Catti. QC can comment on Catti's family and inquires how Kris is doing. Catti comments on her family as well, then Kris can then inquire about them, Noelle, or Jockington. For the former, Catti asks if Kris can find a silence incantation for her. Ficus Licker admits to mistaking the diner for a post office, and became indecisive. Hat Monster and Aaron sit next to each other, with Aaron being impressed by the former.
In Chapter 3, after defeating Tenna, Susie recounts a memory in which Toriel took her to the diner and gave her hot chocolate. The interior of the diner can be seen accompanying the flashback.
In Chapter 4, Kris can pay $5 to order food with Susie, which initiates an optional cutscene. During the scene, Susie talks about having gone to the diner with Toriel. When QC brings out their food, the screen fades to black as they eat. Kris and Susie then proceed to draw each other on the window. As they leave their booth, QC asks them to clean their table.
Froggit and Hat Monster are sitting on the stools. Dress Lion is joined in a booth by Shambling Mass, thankful for her shift being covered by Purple Guy, who she does not remember hiring. Bratty and Blue Ears are sharing another booth. When it is raining, the diner cannot be entered since it is full, but if an Egg was obtained in Chapter 3, a customer (implied to be the man) in the back of the diner will notice Kris and hold up a takeout box.[1]
Inside the diner, there are two tables against the western wall and one table against the eastern wall. Each table is accompanied by a pair of booths on opposite sides. To the north is a counter, which holds a cash register and four napkin holders. Seven stools line the front of the counter, and QC stands behind the counter manning the register.
