Top of Castle
Top of Castle is a location in Chapter 5, and the rooftop of the eponymous Flower Castle.
Before entering the gauntlet, Flowery reminds the party of his goal, warning them that he will do everything to stop them after that point, while Blue remarks on the area being a battle of will between the party and the flowers.
Flowery tries to convince Susie and Ralsei in that order during two empty long staircase sections. To the latter, he suggests closing the Castle Town fountain instead. Neither party member is swayed.
Before the bossfight, Flowery gives the party one last chance to resolve the conflict peacefully, which is rejected by progressing.
Top of Castle comprises a mix of open-air sections and long antechambers. The area's architecture consistently has a golden hue. The challenges in this section are based on the abilities of the flowers.
Green's shop is the first sublocation in Top of Castle to contain a Shortcut door.
Green sells the same restorative items as last time, but all items and armor cost 1 more Dark Dollar than usual; alongside a NetskieHat replacing the RedRibbon.
| Item | Price | Note |
|---|---|---|
| OrangeJuice | 223 D$ | +80HP |
| Flavigne | 334 D$ | +130HP |
| GreenTea | 778 D$ | +180HP |
| NetskieHat | 1501 D$ | +6DF |
The pink door is a sublocation that contains a Shortcut door. It contains the Pink Door, which can be opened with the MysteryKey purchased for 10 Pink Coins at the shop in the Cliffs.
The Pink Fight Room is accessed through the Pink Door, which leads into the Pink Fight Room when opened. The room contains a save point. The battle with Pink begins after a shortcut when the player goes to the right. After Pink is defeated, the right area of the Pink Fight Room is removed and made inaccessible, replaced with an entrance on the top that leads into the Petal Item sale room.
Flower Item Sale Room
The Flower Item Sale room is accessible after defeating Pink, where it can be accessed through the top exit of the Pink Fight Room. If less than three flower items have been purchased, flower items (excluding the FloweyScarf) are sold here for three Pink Coins and one-hundred Flowery Dollars. If three flower items have been purchased, the only available item is the FloweryScarf which is available for one Flowery Dollar.

By cutting the vines left of the pink coin chime in the room leading to the drop for the Pink Door, two small platforming sections are found. The best way to traverse these is to use Ralsei's act on the next vine and jump towards him immediately after. In the second room, the Annoying Dog will come out instead of Ralsei, climb on Kris and Susie and cause an explosion dropping them in the pit below. Trying a second time allows for the section to be completed, leading to a space with a door, a chest containing a DogDollar and a ladder with Flowery's face, dubbed "Laddery", that Susie takes for Ralsei's room in Castle Town. If the ladders were picked up in Chapter 4, Susie suggests that she'll upgrade Ralsei's ladders using Laddery.
Entering the door leads to a small room with two Floradinns and one Kawkaw painting. The Kawkaw has a hat and a nameplate reading "Moa", with narration saying that "what's certain is that it must be some kind of Birb", while the Floradinns both have glasses, and one of them has a fox tail and a nameplate reading "Yuka", with narration questioning whether the tail is real or not. The other Floradinn explains how this is the room where Flowery's Bromides are drawn. "Something incredible" can be picked up on the ground, being the BromideF. This room uses the song dogroom.
- When going left from the Annoying Dog room, a ladder with Flowery's face is found. Susie suggests taking it for Ralsei's room, with him objecting to taking "Laddery". When she says it would be a good way to do reps, he suggests he could instead do "isometric exercises on the windowsill", referencing the "Steamed Hams" meme.
- The Floradinn having a "Yuka" nameplate likely is a reference to Yuuka Kazami from Touhou Project, a youkai with flower themes.
