I just wanted to double-check, you tossed every item you owned and still got the funny sticker scene? That's really surprising to me since you technically have nothing on your person. Also thank you for checking this!HylianAngel (talk) 20:49, 28 July 2025 (UTC)
- Yep, I sold everything to the Vending Machine in ABC Rank Rewards room to do it. It ended up with Susie only listing the stickers and Kris's equipped weapon. I guess Kris really likes stickers... you're welcome! — Link [ T | C ] 21:07, 28 July 2025 (UTC)

Regarding this edit summary, I checked the Steam beta branch for version 1.05 just now, and the condition for talking to Toriel is still a requirement. It seems like it was probably just a small error as it's unrelated to any (PC) game version differences. HylianAngel (talk) 23:16, 27 August 2025 (UTC)
- I see, thanks for double-checking it! I got confused because I usually take the time to manually check things, and that part of the article was one of them. — Link [ T | C ] 00:02, 28 August 2025 (UTC)

This has been weighing on my mind for a bit, but would the Important Person's Shirt merchandise from Fangamer be a viable source for Kris pronouns?
The pattern of a shirt worn by a beloved someone.
Your love will become theirs.
Their love will become yours.
Everyone knows/assumes it's Kris's shirt, though the description is similarly vague, leaving some wiggle room where maybe it's not in relation to the player and Kris. Also, merchandise is not deemed as canon by Toby, but I also wouldn't see any reason why a character would suddenly be given incorrect pronouns in the official merch descriptions. Anyways, was just wondering what your opinion on this is! HylianAngel (talk) 00:43, 5 December 2025 (UTC)
- Good question! I'm actually not too sure yet...
- When it comes to merch, Fangamer is very deliberate in their choices for merch photos and descriptions. The Important Person's Shirt is the first merch that is listed under both Undertale and Deltarune too, and even the Holiday 2024 Newsletter has it paired with both Undertale and Deltarune merch, but:
- The Darkheart Pin in the photo teeters it more to Kris, and technically Asriel. Undertale merch has the Delta Rune with a purple background.
- As for the description, it reads more like aligning with Chara at this time. That might change when more Chapters are out, though...
- — Link [ T | C ] 01:08, 5 December 2025 (UTC)
- Oh shoot, I forgot it looks like Chara and Asriel's shirts too. Thanks for mentioning that, it totally slipped my mind. Then it's better to not consider it as a source. HylianAngel (talk) 01:54, 5 December 2025 (UTC)
- Perfectly reasonable, thanks for bringing up the pronouns. — Link [ T | C ] 02:29, 5 December 2025 (UTC)

Merry Christmas, and Merry Krismas!
Sort of not totally related, but I got the Important Person's Shirt for Christmas, and I noticed that while the games listed are both Undertale and Deltarune (same as the website listing), the "ID" specifies Deltarune ("DR-IMPRTNTPRSN-GRN"). Thought that was neat!
https://i.imgur.com/89oECRk.jpeg
Also, this is a really really really particular case, so particular I don't even know if it's worth including unless we were really really desperate for two extra Kris pronoun citations. But technically, there is this really niche case where Kris is referred to as "'em," short for "them," at two points by Small Mike in the Nintendo Switch 2 version.
- Small Mike: Big Mike, hit 'em with the AIRWAVES!
- Small Mike: Mike! Hit 'em with your CAT STORM!!!
But, this is only true if you only bring Kris. You could also bring the whole party, and then this term means the actual plural usage, and not just the singular usage for Kris. I think it's a clever way to avoid rewriting the dialogue, and it definitely has to be a pronoun usage if it's only Kris there, since there's nobody there other than them.
But because it's niche, and because it's multipurpose for either a single person or the whole party, I wonder if it's worth even mentioning this or not. Was curious if you had any thoughts on this. HylianAngel (talk) 22:30, 25 December 2025 (UTC)
- Hey, Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays- wait. Shouldn't you be telling the latter to... I dunno, that Level 4 Moss Most editor or something instead of me?
- Anyways, congrats on the new merch! That is very interesting, thanks for sharing! Maybe the ID reason is probably because unlike Asriel and Chara, Kris having that kind of shirt isn't a spoiler... the other two only show up at the end, if you really think about it.
- As for the Small Mike lines: I think it's cool too, I've often used "'em" myself a few times. It is niche, and I was also intending to check on Chapter 3 ones that could have a similar issue. Probably best to hold off on it for now. But... since you mentioned it... — Link [ T | C ] 23:19, 25 December 2025 (UTC)
- Nah, this conversation is totally Kris-centric so "Krismas" definitely makes sense here. Plus, based on their empty edit summaries, I don't think I'd get a wordy response back...
- Maybe that's why the shirt is ID'd as DR, but they could have easily labeled it as UT under the logic that UT is the first game in the "UT series," in a way.
- I took a quick look at the (PC) text dump for the term "'em," and it seems that pretty much all of the instances are either in reference to multiple people/objects, or any unknown person that's not somebody specific.
- There's one that stood out to me, used for the Sharpshoot menu description text:
- Narration: Light 'em up
- This could refer to the singular Shadowguy you're targeting, or the Shadowguy and their friends. But, we already know that they/them is used Shadowguy, so nothing new there.
- Also one instance for Undyne for Alphys, which I have listed here. HylianAngel (talk) 23:59, 25 December 2025 (UTC)
- That is true. They seem pretty dedicated to being in-character...
- Potentially.. who knows. Maybe it's easier categorizing.
- Interesting, thanks for looking into this. Seems like the same answer. That was 'em was before Undyne knew who Alphys was, so it's neutral. Also, thanks for compiling the reference chart and citations for others a while back! — Link [ T | C ] 00:51, 26 December 2025 (UTC)
- Sure thing! HylianAngel (talk) 01:04, 26 December 2025 (UTC)
The change made to the Manual section of the furniture page makes it incorrect. The original wording has the two potential conditions, tossing the manual does not always make the trash can appear. Also "optional" might be misleading since some are forced. HylianAngel (talk) 00:49, 6 December 2025 (UTC)
- Oh, are you referring to the Glowshard glitch for removing the Manual? I totally forgot to factor it, even though I was the one who messed around and added that to the article forever ago... that and Light Candy related stuff. — Link [ T | C ] 00:55, 6 December 2025 (UTC)
- No, I don't know how that glitch works. The previous wording has the two conditions, either throwing it away without Ralsei in the party, or not throwing it away. Removing that wording makes it misleading. HylianAngel (talk) 00:56, 6 December 2025 (UTC)
- It's just using Glowshard by multiple party members in the same turn. Sure, I'll look into swapping it back. — Link [ T | C ] 01:03, 6 December 2025 (UTC)
- I wrote this in my notes, but I can't remember if tossing it once with Ralsei present then an additional time with him not present is also treated like one or two times:
- "[Save file] Line 524 (Chapter 1)/Line 760 (Chapter 2) is 0 for dropping the Manual zero times, 1 for dropping it once, 2 for dropping it twice. 2 gives trash can for Kris's room."
- There's also some info on the mechanic on the Manual page. But you can get rid of it and still have a value of 1 legitimately. HylianAngel (talk) 01:05, 6 December 2025 (UTC)
- I understand, I remember trying the drop the Manual in different ways in 2022 to verify the listed ones for the Manual article, but I actually never looked at the code for it before. Can't believe I forgot that the Manual toss had unusual circumstances...
- I got some amnesia on past edits I did too, because I checked article histories, and the Glowshard glitch was something I discovered and documented in February 2022. I don't think it's worth adding to Furniture, though... Thanks for bringing this up and sharing your notes! — Link [ T | C ] 01:45, 6 December 2025 (UTC)
- Great! Also sorry if I'm communicating weirdly, didn't sleep much last night so it's laborious to form coherent sentences.
- The amnesia is just our brains trying to let us re-experience Deltarune again, like when the time loop hits at Chapter 7 for sure. HylianAngel (talk) 01:51, 6 December 2025 (UTC)
- It's OK! Take care of yourself, sleep is important.
- ... Just not 100 years of sleeping that can cause amnesia. — Link [ T | C ] 01:54, 6 December 2025 (UTC)

Would it be sensible to change "superior" in the Relationships section of King and Queen's infoboxes to something like "Idol" instead? The only antagonist who can be reasonably said to have worked under the Knight is Tenna, as it seems that Kris relayed its orders to him as their "deal." Queen was working off the Knight's actions and King apparently never even met it, so I don't think it can be said to have been their superior. Clint Barton Fan (talk) 19:24, 14 December 2025 (UTC)
- Sure! Especially King. He gets mad when Susie doesn't tell him how it was like in Chapter 4... thanks for bringing it up. — Link [ T | C ] 19:47, 14 December 2025 (UTC)
Is "Warp Door" an official name? I don't think this term is ever used literally anywhere. (Or maybe it was in an anniversary stream or a newsletter and I overlooked it.) In-game, it seems to just be called "door," and also "lone doorframe" when it's empty. But problematically, the page has been named "Warp Door" for so long, and it's quite a sensible name, that I think it's probably become the most common way that the community refers to the door now. The sprite and some code "officially" call it shortcut_door.
Funnily enough, warpflame got coined in the code for the Guei-shaped warp flames (sprite name seems to just be gueiflame), sharing the same sensible adjective as the community-given name. I've been thinking it might make sense to go more in-depth about the warp flames on the Chapter 4 section of the Warp Door page, even though it's unrelated, because there's really no good location for this useful data otherwise. It's also technically involving the same warping concept, just themed and slightly mechanically different to fit the atmosphere of that chapter.
But anyways, could it make sense to maybe rename the page to its internal name instead? Or maybe mention that it's a community-given name somewhere and state the internal name. HylianAngel (talk) 01:03, 26 December 2025 (UTC)
- Looks like the article has been named that since November 2, 2018. I checked through the 6th Anniversary Stream on sections where the door was, and Toby didn't comment on them at all. Also the Broken Keys was modded for the stream, so they don't use the doors... Fred has a tweet where he only describes it as a "door" too for an AGDQ 2022 speedrun.
- I'm guessing it was largely intentionally vague because when it's active, it looks like Sans's door in Undertale.
- As for the "Warp Flames," I think it's reasonable to have it there as a split subheader. It would be stubby on its own, and it is limited in how it warps. — Link [ T | C ] 02:46, 26 December 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for looking into it so in-depth. Everyone just really liked the name that the initial editor chose, lol. If anything, the connection with Sans would make the usage of "shortcut" more apt, since that's the term he uses when he "teleports" between locations.
- Yeah, definitely think keeping it on this page for both concepts is better, even though the page name having a focus on the door somewhat clashes with the flame concept. So just need to add a little bit of info in the existing section (and maybe a picture, if not the sprite itself, then maybe File:3rd Sanctuary location Stairs.png). HylianAngel (talk) 03:08, 26 December 2025 (UTC)
- I believe that the Warp Flame should be documented in detail on the Warp Door page. On the 3rd Sanctuary map, I had classified the Guei flames under the
warpdoorcategory because that is essentially what they are. - As for the name of the page itself, I believe that is something to be brought up in Discussions. We have had a lot of antiquated names from our days on Fandom, and I believe we have grounds to retire most of them. F-sharp (talk | contribs) 03:03, 26 December 2025 (UTC)

Hi!! I'm on a guest account... Just asking 'cus I'm curious. I was reading the Couch Cliffs page for fun when I noticed a bit about "Tenna commenting on the VHS not working" in the v1.01B patch that you added to that page on September 12th. I've never seen that dialogue before & haven't been able to find any documentation of it — do you have a video/pic of it? I'm just a massive nerd for any and all deltarune, so I was so curious as to what Toby had written in for that specific scenario and if there's footage of it (since it's so specific and presumably requires older OS/software). Thanks in advance ^^ ~2026-392650 (unregistered) (talk) 03:56, 5 January 2026 (UTC)
- Great question, I was curious about this too. I went ahead and removed the .mp4 files from the directory to see what would happen, and it results in this dialogue. Hope it helps!
- I also added a citation from the code to the Couch Cliffs article. HylianAngel (talk) 04:47, 5 January 2026 (UTC)
- I'm honestly not sure what triggers that under normal circumstances without intentionally triggering it.. thanks for looking into it, HylianAngel! — Link [ T | C ] 05:33, 5 January 2026 (UTC)
- This triggers for me when playing the game over Wine on Linux. Wine can't play the video, so the game stops responding. When I restart the game and come back to that scene, the error handler dialogue from HylianAngel's video plays instead. (Unfortunately, this error handler wasn't implemented back when I originally played Chapter 3, so on June 4 I had to switch to a Windows virtual machine just to get past that video.) So I know your busy with the boss page but I have a few favors for you if can’t do them it’s fine. But I’d like you to help me with making an Overworld hazard page after your done with the boss page. And I need you to assemble the sprite of the unused toy train from Chapter 4 for another page I’m trying to make. Yeah you don’t have to do these but it would be nice if you did. MMK-001 (talk) 04:09, 17 January 2026 (UTC)
- Hey! Sorry for the delay, I just got back home. Unfortunately I only have the paid version of the game on a Nintendo Switch, so I can't get sprites, nor find the names of them. In terms of moderators, I highly recommend asking @F-sharp and @WitheredFreddy1993 next time for any sprite or screenshot related help! They're both very active and do a stellar job. — Link [ T | C ] 08:06, 17 January 2026 (UTC)
So I’m making a page for Treasure chests cause they are a pretty important mechanic, and I want you to help me with formatting and adding the Treasure chest locations, you don’t have too but it would be nice.
Also congrats on getting the boss page out. MMK-001 (talk) 19:11, 29 January 2026 (UTC)
- Hey, sure I can help with it. I was chatting a bit with KockaAdmiralac, HylianAngel and EvieMaybe about some possible ideas that could be done for the treasure chest article. I guess we'll see how it goes when it's formatted!
- Also thanks! It's nice to get articles out. — Link [ T | C ] 19:58, 29 January 2026 (UTC)
- Hey sorry for the late response, but thanks for helping I appreciate it. Also where was the chat made, cause it’s not their talk pages and I’d like to know so I can help out with it, I’m not a good formatter but I can still help.
- Also would you consider Trash cans as a type of chest, cause they act identical. MMK-001 (talk) 20:27, 29 January 2026 (UTC)
- No problem! The conversation happened on Discord's wiki discussion channel. The topic was admittedly a bit loose, but it's mostly because we need to see how the article structure will look like. It's like the "Boss" article in that it needs special formatting in some way.
- Also yes, we can count the trash cans as one. Also, before I accidentally forget: thanks for helping with the Boss article! I've been meaning to make another update post on new articles and who did what on Discussions, including some that you worked on, but that'll have to wait for now. — Link [ T | C ] 20:37, 29 January 2026 (UTC)

I think we should use "Board" to refer to the final rank that the player received on each one (e.g. "S-Rank on Board 2") even though "Round" may appear more inclusive. This is, to my knowledge, the term that the game always uses:
- "... I see! S-rank on Board 2. Please enjoy our luxury facilities."
- "On the previous Board, you earned RANK A. You're AMAZING!"
- "WHAT WAS YOUR RANK ON BOARD 1!?"
Remex Remige (talk) 18:49, 1 June 2026 (UTC)
- It's tough because it's Tenna who uses the term "Round" the most, but it's depicted as one of his funnytext images every time.
- I do know that "BOARD" is also used when checking the overall rank in Green Room too.. — Link [ T | C ] 18:55, 1 June 2026 (UTC)
- Even if Tenna said "Round" in plain text, I would still go with "Board" in these particular cases. Tenna isn't the one giving you items and unlocking rooms for you based on your rank. Ramb and the Zappers are. Remex Remige (talk) 19:07, 1 June 2026 (UTC)
- That makes sense, but I'm wondering if we probably have to change Round 1 or Board 1 across the wiki for this as well. The latter is set to Desert Board than TV Time. — Link [ T | C ] 19:10, 1 June 2026 (UTC)
- That might warrant a post in Discussions, but in my opinion Rounds and Boards should be considered synonyms, with Rounds redirecting to Boards. In particular, I never thought of the final minigames as separate from the game boards, but a part of them, same as the non-pixelated battles and quiz segments. Remex Remige (talk) 19:25, 1 June 2026 (UTC)
- Seems like it. Before I changed everything to "Round", I had also looked at the CHAPTER 3 and 4 LOOK BACK! and Toby consistently referred to Desert Board as "Board 1"... that's partially why I decided Round was better as well. — Link [ T | C ] 19:32, 1 June 2026 (UTC)

I am currently trying to add the Addison Pipsi sprite from the Undertale/Deltarune official post but I am very very lost on how to add it correctly and I noticed very quickly after adding it to the files that I did not make the background transparent which is also a problem that I can't fix Battat-Irl (talk) 17:20, 16 June 2026 (UTC)
- Are you trying to add it to the Addison article to the main body, or to a gallery? You can reupload an image from the image's URL, which in this case is:

- At the bottom of it, click "Upload a new version of this file" to do so. — Link [ T | C ] 17:25, 16 June 2026 (UTC)
- I was trying to add it to the gallery, also I do not see a button saying that I can upload a new version of the file Battat-Irl (talk) 17:28, 16 June 2026 (UTC)
- For visual editor: click Gallery > + Add new image > type "pink" for the sprite > add caption > Apply changes
- For source editor: It's
filename | caption - For reuploading: you can scroll underneath "File history" to reupload it. — Link [ T | C ] 17:40, 16 June 2026 (UTC)

- it says "You cannot overwrite this file." Battat-Irl (talk) 17:44, 16 June 2026 (UTC)

Hey, Link. So someone recently made a page about the Festival on the Fandom wiki, and I've decided to contribute to it. Just want to know, does this look too similar to this wiki's page on it?
I also left this message on your profile there, just posting it here in case you don't respond.

You say you sorted the evidence. Sorted by what? The way it was before is the order they appear while selecting evidence during the trial. Remex Remige (talk) 03:34, 1 July 2026 (UTC)
- I'm sorting them when they're first found, but I'm still playing through the Chapter so it's probably not entirely accurate still. — Link [ T | C ] 03:35, 1 July 2026 (UTC)
- Apart from the dog and egg, it's accurate. But is it important to sort them by the order you find them when they have a canon order? Remex Remige (talk) 04:04, 1 July 2026 (UTC)
- I figured that's a list where people want to see where things are found first, I haven't seen the canon order at all yet or the battle itself yet. — Link [ T | C ] 04:07, 1 July 2026 (UTC)

I think we should add links in the character navbox to all the NPCs instead of a link to the characters category now that they all have their own pages. I just think its kind of weird to have a navigation that takes you to another navigation if you're looking for an NPC. Bowl of Curry (talk) 21:14, 6 July 2026 (UTC)
- Here's the thing: every time we added NPCs to the navbox, it lead to severely bloating the navbox. As in, probably half the page... — Link [ T | C ] 21:46, 6 July 2026 (UTC)
- Good point, I didn't consider that. Although, since we're on the topic, I feel like even in its current state, the character navbox (+ maybe the items one too) is pretty bloated. Maybe we could split it into different navboxes? Bowl of Curry (talk) 23:22, 6 July 2026 (UTC)
- Haven't had much reception on this unfortunately, mostly I considered was probably having the weapons split in the same navbox for readability. — Link [ T | C ] 21:00, 7 July 2026 (UTC)
- Maybe you could make a discussion post about this in order to receive more feedback. If you want my input about your idea, I believe that it would help a lot with the navbox's readability. Bowl of Curry (talk) 22:57, 7 July 2026 (UTC)
- EvieMaybe tossed some suggestions up for the navboxes.. still big, and it might look a little worse on mobile, but I suppose we'll see what others think about it when the thread is made. — Link [ T | C ] 16:50, 8 July 2026 (UTC)

Removal of "For ... see Gaster follower" on Introduction
Why was it removed? Goner and Goners redirects to Introduction. A lot of people for example see Normal NPC as a goner and would search Goner aiming to locate him. PapyrusPikmin1997 (talk) 20:42, 7 July 2026 (UTC)
- I'm not paying attention to redirects at this time, and the phrase "goner" wasn't mentioned in the "for" sentence.
- I'm wondering if we need to specify more for redirects.... — Link [ T | C ] 20:59, 7 July 2026 (UTC)
- The issue is that our templates are worse than Wikipedia. There is nothing for doing stuff like "Goner" redirects here. For ..." PapyrusPikmin1997 (talk) 21:22, 7 July 2026 (UTC)
- I'm not really sure on the fix for this when we have a lot of quirky redirects, some redirects which I just fixed for the Introduction article...
- Also I looked into this a bit more and the Gaster followers aren't internally listed as "goner". Are you sure people are trying to find Normal NPC through that term? — Link [ T | C ] 05:50, 8 July 2026 (UTC)
- I am in the fandom and it is common consensus that Gaster followers are goners like Goner Kid and Goner Clam Girl. You're right that they're not internally named that but in the fanbase all five of those NPCs are considered goners. PapyrusPikmin1997 (talk) 15:51, 8 July 2026 (UTC)
- Kocka made it so Goner is a disambig now. I think it's still awkward because it's still internally incorrect, but there's no fix around anything Gaster related when Toby made sure everything Gaster related is internally split. — Link [ T | C ] 16:33, 8 July 2026 (UTC)

So, I completely understand why this was triggered automatically, but I made an edit to Pink's article listing how the part in the dating segment where "female dog" is a possible insult interpretation of "husky" is probably a play on the word "bitch", and now my IP is blocked. In retrospect I should have expected this. ~2026-50737 (unregistered) (talk) 17:05, 8 July 2026 (UTC)
- Yeah, that wording was unfortunate... Kocka unblocked you while I was away. — Link [ T | C ] 17:10, 8 July 2026 (UTC)
- It should no longer be filtered, sorry about that. KockaAdmiralac (talk) 17:15, 8 July 2026 (UTC)
I was about to create a page, gather references, images etc. when i had noticed a pop-up that said "'Kralsei' was recently deleted" etc.
If it was you, why did you do so?

- There never was an article on shipping, that had ended up being a redirect at best. — Link [ T | C ] 14:24, 12 July 2026 (UTC)
