It's true that the term is capitalized as "RECRUITs" quite often, but Recruits is "Recruits" when you interact with a Save Point, and in a few other spots. And there are other terms in the game that are capitalized but the wiki leaves as title case:
- DARK DOLLARS (e.g. "Been a while! I got caught smuggling TV Dinners for DARK DOLLARS."), though it's also sometimes title case in-game
- BALL MACHINE
- DELTA RUNE / DELTARUNE
- Pretty much all of the locations in Desert Board and Island Board which are stylized as purely uppercase for the retroness.
I'm also thinking it should be the same for Points, which is cased as POINTs, Points, and points in-game. HylianAngel (talk) 23:00, 11 July 2025 (UTC)
- Makes sense, its true that the wiki overall doesnt use the all uppercase for most things. POINT should end up getting moved for consistency as you said, but mentions of these terms in all-caps (which do exist) should be also removed, unless they're quotes. PapyrusPikmin1997 (talk) 23:02, 11 July 2025 (UTC)
- I feel like POINTs are more frequently referred to in uppercase, whereas recruits can even be sentence case. We should probably organize a discussion on all the various terms capitalized in the game, because there are many of them that feel unnatural to capitalize (SPARE, Chapter, RECRUIT) when they could just be sentence case. KockaAdmiralac (talk) 23:09, 11 July 2025 (UTC)
- I think that would make sense to create a discussion for it. I like matching the game when possible, but even the game is inconsistent with itself at times. Many location names are sentence case in dialogue but then title case at Save Points.
- Also just wanted to note that "Chapter" is interchangeably used with both casings, but the Glowshard and Dog Dollar specifically title case it. Also it was already title case on its actual page. HylianAngel (talk) 23:13, 11 July 2025 (UTC)
May I add some images to your sandbox page? HylianAngel (talk) 01:23, 6 August 2025 (UTC)
- Sure thing! Anyone is free to edit it. PapyrusPikmin1997 (talk) 01:30, 6 August 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks! HylianAngel (talk) 01:31, 6 August 2025 (UTC)
- I wanted to mention that there's some overlap with my uploaded images and the images you recently uploaded (Special:NewFiles). I plan to add them when there's a chance to avoid an edit conflict. HylianAngel (talk) 04:48, 6 August 2025 (UTC)
- I've uploaded all the images I plan to currently, you can upload yours now if you think any are missing. PapyrusPikmin1997 (talk) 04:49, 6 August 2025 (UTC)
- All your images are now on the page, seems like the only duplicate was the TAKING TOO LONG one. PapyrusPikmin1997 (talk) 05:10, 6 August 2025 (UTC)
- Yeah, that was the only exact duplicate. I mostly just wanted to point out that there were some concept overlaps (like 2 Rouxls shop images), so I wanted to let you know in case you weren't aware. But that actually worked out well, since one can be for the actual Rouxls page and one can be for the running gags page.
- Also the "LONG house" upload was more to replace another user's .jpg upload, I went ahead and uploaded a more fitting image [
here] just now so the running gags page can use that instead. HylianAngel (talk) 05:25, 6 August 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you. I agree that the two Rouxls images should remain, since the "non-crud" one is more fitting for his character article. PapyrusPikmin1997 (talk) 05:26, 6 August 2025 (UTC)
- Still a stub?
- I've been trying to think of more running gags, but can't. Maybe the page has them all. Should I move it to mainspace? PapyrusPikmin1997 (talk) 05:39, 6 August 2025 (UTC)
- I wanted to make a few formatting changes and add info on the "Smorgasbord" concept when you're done with your current edits. It looks great already though! HylianAngel (talk) 05:40, 6 August 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you! I'm fully done now, you can add whatever you want. PapyrusPikmin1997 (talk) 05:41, 6 August 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you, I also added what I wanted to add. I think it's an informative page now that could be pushed to mainspace for other users to add to it. I'm sure there's other running gags, but I can't think of any notable ones at the moment. HylianAngel (talk) 06:33, 6 August 2025 (UTC)
- Oh yeah, there's technically an ongoing "boob" gag. The Blue Blocks spell "BOOB" in Chapter 1's epilogue, there's a Bosom/Tity joke with Queen at Chapter 2's arcade machine, and then the Watercooler in Chapter 3 and HolyWatercooler if you don't ACT against it in Chapter 4 can say "boobie." I'm on the fence if this counts, and I feel it could invite strange/bad edits due to the nature of the topic, but maybe it should be added too. HylianAngel (talk) 07:03, 6 August 2025 (UTC)
- This is 100% a gag (that I forgot), but the concern of bad/inappropriate edits are valid. A possible solution is to just list the basic stuff about the gag, and then add a comment saying not to edit it unless there's false info/a typo. PapyrusPikmin1997 (talk) 07:05, 6 August 2025 (UTC)
- Added it, also planning to add a "Watercooler" section as its quite the common gag in the new chapters. It won't be too long however, as a majority of the info is on Watercooler. PapyrusPikmin1997 (talk) 07:14, 6 August 2025 (UTC)
- finished PapyrusPikmin1997 (talk) 07:19, 6 August 2025 (UTC)
- Great, the wiki is much better now that people can search up what boob means. HylianAngel (talk) 07:30, 6 August 2025 (UTC)

Hey, I'm letting you know that you don't need to convert everything from SearchDigest into a redirect, especially if it appears to be a broad search. Some of the ones like "video game", and "overworld" are broad terms that cover completely different aspects. In the case of "Mario"... that will likely be covered better when we get the Allusions format up and ready.
I get your enthusiasm in wanting to help, but definitely keep that in mind. — Link [ T | C ] 22:13, 11 July 2026 (UTC)
- Got it, I'll slow down on the redirects. PapyrusPikmin1997 (talk) 22:42, 11 July 2026 (UTC)
The inaccessible rooms article on Undertale Wiki is still categorized as unused content. We really don't need to make the entire Entry Number Seventeen look like it's a fun value that can appear normally in Undertale gameplay when that's not true. — Link [ T | C ] 14:14, 15 July 2026 (UTC)
- Inaccessible is still just a better word to use for it, in my opinion, and it is also a correct description. Unused gives off the vibe that it's old, removed content from early in development, when obviously Toby Fox wanted the players to find it, that's why there's no dogcheck. Also, that page with it being called "unused" was one of the only two that did that, it should be consistent across the wiki, most pages just called it Entry Number Seventeen. PapyrusPikmin1997 (talk) 14:21, 15 July 2026 (UTC)
- I'm also referring to the Ralsei allusions section as well in this context, and in general on this entire topic. Entry Number Seventeen still unused and isn't old, even TCRF has it in an unused room article. I really don't think we need to give special attention to it, when documenting it in the main body of articles, and even in the Deltarune article itself, is more than enough. — Link [ T | C ] 14:39, 15 July 2026 (UTC)
- So do you think "unused" be added to all the mentions of the entry across the wiki? Since as I said it isn't consistent, a lot of time it isn't called unused or inaccessible at all. Like just adding "unused" before "Entry Number Seventeen" each time. PapyrusPikmin1997 (talk) 14:43, 15 July 2026 (UTC)
