From Deltarune Wiki

DualHeal (JP: Wヒール) is an ACT[note 1] in Deltarune, only usable against certain enemies, primarily Chapter bosses. It is an upgraded version of Heal Prayer that heals all party members and is used through Kris's ACT menu.

Main story

Chapter 1

DualHeal is first unlocked after using Ralsei's Talk ACT against King.

Chapter 2

During the battle against Queen, DualHeal is available by default.

Chapter 4

DualHeal becomes available during the battles against the Titan Spawn and the Titan. However, DualHeal's description is glitched, as when Ralsei and Susie cast it together it lists Susie twice due to the character names array being structured to avoid zero-based numbering,[1] which was overlooked.[2]

Mechanics

There are two distinct versions of DualHeal that function significantly differently.

Chapter 1 and 2

DualHeal is available in the battles against King and Queen. It uses Ralsei's turn, and costs 50% TP to use. Depending on his Magic stat, Ralsei heals each party member by (Magic×4) HP in Chapter 1[3] and Magic×5.5 HP in Chapter 2.[4]

Chapter 4

DualHeal is available in the battles against the Titan Spawn and the Titan. It uses both Susie's and Ralsei's turns, and costs 16% TP to use. Both Susie and Ralsei cast it simultaneously, and the healing combines both of their magic stats, healing (MagicSusie+MagicRalsei)×6×multiplier HP[5] to every party member. The multiplier is given according to the following table:

DualHeal uses this battleMultiplierTotal multiplier
01.59
116
20.84.8
30.31.8
4+0.21.2

Its healing can be further boosted by the BlueRibbon.

Trivia

  • There is an unused version of DualHeal in the code that costs 0% TP. Its description implies it heals a flat +30 HP to every party member, rather than depending on Magic,[6] but it actually functions identically to the Chapter 1 and 2 versions of DualHeal.

Notes

  1. Although in-game references to this ACT treat it akin to a spell, internally, DualHeal is treated as an ACT.
