Thanks so much for editing the page I made on the Sword Route Monsters! I noticed that you added a stub section to the Flower enemy about the orange variant... the main problem is that I don't think that the enemy is used? If it is, then it shows up briefly as a part of the Flower monster's attack animation, either that or I somehow missed it. Since it wasn't a unique enemy to my knowledge I didn't think to mention it. Not that you have to do anything about that, just thought I'd let you know! Person992012 (talk) 21:44, 17 July 2025 (UTC)
- No problem, and thank you so much for making the page! I actually had the exact same thought while editing the flower section, and I'm also unsure if it's actually used in the game. I went off of the information included with the orange flower gif, which didn't mention the file being unused, so I included it just to be sure. It's entirely possible that it is unused, in which case someone can delete the stub and maybe include the orange sprite as a trivia fact. TB (talk) 21:57, 17 July 2025 (UTC)
- I figured it out! Orange flowers are used on the first board, Yellow flowers only show up in rounds 2 & 3. They do look similar enough that they can be confused though, so that's why we didn't notice. I updated the page accordingly. :) TB (talk) 08:38, 18 July 2025 (UTC)
Thank you so much for fixing that! I'm still not as savvy in wiki editing as I'd like to be so I got a bit scared, but now I'll know how to avoid this sort of malfunction ^^ Clint Barton Fan (talk) 11:28, 20 July 2025 (UTC)
- No problem! I actually hadn't seen something like this before either, I only noticed the red 'duplicate arguments in template calls' in the page categories. Were you trying to make the text appear in comic sans? I think you can do that by adding <sans> and </sans> before and after your quote respectively. TB (talk) 11:47, 20 July 2025 (UTC)
- Yes, I was! However, I tried to use "<span class=sans>" instead, which is apparenlty what caused the "author not specified" error. Clint Barton Fan (talk) 12:13, 20 July 2025 (UTC)
Hey TB, we had RHVGamer ask around the Discord server about the rollback that you performed recently on one of his edits. The revert itself is fine, he realized that he misread the sentence in that edit, and thank you for correcting that! But I wanted to mention (and this isn't really written anywhere so I couldn't have expected you to know) that the rollback tool is generally meant for dealing with vandalism, not so much when reverting good faith edits.
The lack of edit summary here caused a bit of confusion. If you're looking for a faster undo tool, do you want to try the QuickUndo gadget, which lets you specify an undo reason when hitting the "undo" button without leaving the current page?
Cheers! KockaAdmiralac (talk) 23:55, 5 August 2025 (UTC)
- Okay, thanks for bringing this to my attention! I didn't mean to cause confusion or come off as dismissive with my lack of explanation, I had used Rollbacks for convenience on minor edits before. I will use the QuickUndo feature from now on, which I apparently had disabled until now. Thanks again! TB (talk) 06:20, 6 August 2025 (UTC)
- No worries! It's disabled by default, because I didn't want to load it for all users or overwhelm new users with unusual tools they might not know how to use. I should find a way to make the gadgets more discoverable in the future, though. KockaAdmiralac (talk) 08:42, 6 August 2025 (UTC)
I can't make the "Located in" section in the Ice Palace's infobox redirect to the Island Board (Original Game) page. It just redirects to Island Board#Original Game, which is not a valid link. Is there any way to fix this? Clint Barton Fan (talk) 16:07, 10 August 2025 (UTC)
- I tried some things and I think it has to do with the location infobox parameters, the bracketed text is for subsections (so the wiki searches for the subsection "Original Game" on the Island Board page). I attempted to solve this with a new redirect page, but I think the target page has to have the location category, which a redirect obviously doesn't.
- This might be worth bringing up to one of the moderators or admins actually, as this is relevant for all locations with the Original Game brackets, and because they have more experience editing the templates than me. TB (talk) 16:30, 10 August 2025 (UTC)
- Alright then. Thank you for your answer! Clint Barton Fan (talk) 17:00, 10 August 2025 (UTC)
Hello again! I noticed recently (I think) you made a small mistake when editing watercooler's page. On the pronoun section, one set of pronouns show is they/them, but the reference used for said pronoun only use it/its for them. I think you might've gotten the line switched up somewhere there. If not my bad! I'd change it but I don't know which dialogue refers to watercooler as they/them, so I thought I'd let you know. Person992012 (talk) 19:27, 12 August 2025 (UTC)
- You're right, thanks for catching that! I pre-write all of my citations in my notes, and I copied the wrong one in. It should be fixed now. TB (talk) 19:33, 12 August 2025 (UTC)
