This variation first appears in From Now On; however, in that track it is slightly different compared to all its other OST appearances. It takes the first 5 notes of the first version and expands upon them, changing the rhythm. The last 4 notes of this version are from the Don't Forget motif. This variation is used in the following tracks:
- From Now On (Battle 2) — 0:00–0:29, 0:36–1:05, 1:20–1:34
- Ever Higher — 0:13–0:21, 0:30–0:39, 0:48–0:57
- Crumbling Tower — 1:40–2:14, 2:30–2:47
- GUARDIAN — 0:58–1:25, 2:23–3:19

This variation (in the Phrygian mode) takes the previous variation's rhythm and contour and changes its melody. Due to this, it no longer shares any elements in common with the original version. This variation is associated with the Titan section at the end of the chapter. There are several slightly different versions across the three tracks it appears in.
- Crumbling Tower — 0:33–0:54, 0:58–1:02, 1:07–1:27, 1:31–1:36
- SPAWN — 0:14–0:32, 0:35–0:39
- GUARDIAN — 0:13–0:27, 1:39–1:53
