Blue and Yellow are a miniboss duo in Chapter 5 of Deltarune. They battle the party over crimes committed in Flower Castle.

In battle

Attacks

• Blue makes a path loosely following the SOUL and spawns a flower along the path every second. These flowers will explode into 8 projectiles after 1 second of being active, the direction of each petal determining where these bullets will go. Yellow shoots out a bullet to follow the path that Blue has made.
• Ballerinas move across the bottom of the board. Blue hops on the top of the board, causing every other ballerina to flash blue and jump to the top of the board.
• Blue dances horizontally across the board, leaving three flowers behind. Yellow shoots the flowers, causing 8 projectiles to shoot out, the direction of each petal determining the direction of the projectiles.
• Three lines of projectiles move across the screen in a wave pattern. Most of these are music notes, but some are flowers. The flowers get shot by Yellow and shoot out projectiles in 8 directions.

Strategy

Blue cannot be damaged, as if the party attempts to attack him, Yellow moves in front of him to take the hit. Yellow ultimately cannot be killed, as Blue will heal him.

The Evidence act must be used to solve four crimes to end the battle. Guessing wrong twice causes the dialogue to give the party a hint for the perpetrator and motive. If either the perpetrator or motive, but not both, is guessed correctly, the dialogue states this.

Justice

Costs 40% TP. This ACT has to be used a minimum of 4 times to make the battle conclude. Each of the 4 cases are different. The culprit and the evidence have to be chosen; if one of the choices is incorrect, then the turn ends. If the choices are correct, then the ACT will move on to the next case. The evidence in the cases are either gathered in Flower Castle itself, or from Blue's Evidence ACT. If there is insufficient evidence, the trial cannot start. This ACT's description will vary based on whether you can start the trial or not.
