The legend of DELTA RUNE, Chapter 1
The Legend is the 8th track of the DELTARUNE Chapter 1 OST. This track plays while Ralsei explains the legend of DELTA RUNE to Kris and Susie, and informs them of the Eastern Fountain's appearance.
This track, along with its associated cutscene, is also played whenever any Chapter that has a Completion FILE is booted up, with the exception of Chapter 4, where it is replaced with The LEGEND...?.
Toby Fox composed "like three different versions" of this track. He shared one of the scrapped versions during the Undertale 6th anniversary stream, which he discarded because the atmosphere of its intro was unfitting.[1]
- This track plays at 95% speed in-game.[2][3][4]
- This track introduces The Legend leitmotifs.
snd_ralseising1andsnd_ralseising2are separate, short clips that represent Ralsei singing The Legend in certain encounters.
