Trivia

• This track introduces its leitmotif, which later appears in Scarlet Forest.
• This track is the only one to have its title displayed in-game, outside of Sweet Cap'n Cakes's Music Room in Castle Town and the Rock Video minigame. The name appears in the top-right corner of the screen after first entering Field, though it uses the title "The Field of Hopes and Dreams" here, which is slightly different from the title used in the OST.
  • Its appearance in this fashion is most likely a reference to the Touhou Project series, where song names appear at the start of levels in a very similar way. In particular, the specific formatting of the song name being preceded with a music note when it appears is similar to how song names are formatted in The Embodiment of Scarlet Devil.
• The title of this track references Hopes and Dreams from Undertale.
• Field of Hopes and Dreams is the longest track in Chapter 1, being 2 minutes and 41 seconds long, beating out Friendship by 1 second.
