Chapter 7
Deltarune Chapter 7 is the upcoming seventh and final Chapter of Deltarune,[1] set to release as a free update to the full game.[2] No release date is currently known.
Chapter 7 will be immediately available to all existing owners of the paid version of Deltarune as a free update upon its release. It will also be available by default in all copies of the game bought after its release.
- During the fight with the Hammer of Justice in Chapter 4, he recounts that Lord of the Hammer's seventh installment was never written,[3] as "The story, it became so grand, so overwhelming, Some say it swallowed up the author himself. The ones who could write the next, the youth, the pen was lying there for them to pick up. To make the next page. ...they never did.". It is likely that this is meant to parallel Chapter 7.
In the DELTARUNE Chapter 5 Release Date Announcement newsletter, released on June 9, 2026, Toby Fox said that it is "not unrealistic" that some of the development team will start working on Chapter 7 before the end of 2026.[4]
